The next thread, royal style mavens! The title suggestion was from our last thread. Mary of Teck was never knowingly underdressed or less than bejewelled!

@Maireas Yes!!!! I love Leti's outfit - subtle but interesting skirt, beautifully paired with the red top. She knows her own style and what suits her.

Yes, she does, she rarely gets it wrong, imo. She tries different looks and I like that she wears seperates, which can be mixed and styled another way. Her hair and makeup are always on point.

Absolutely. She has the innate confidence to experiment - a very poised, uber-stylish woman. Her husband is pretty handsome and well dressed too!!!

Yes, I remember that - Mary did not have an easy childhood, did she? I remember someone telling us about her mother and various problems there.

Amalia of the Netherlands has done her first solo trip abroad - to Madrid to unveil a plaque thanking the city for keeping her safe while she was studying there. I saw some footage on Instagram and she is fluent in Spanish, though she would be, wouldn't she?

Amalia does look very tall there, I'm not sure if she is in real life. Nice dress, not too fussy or formal. That's a lovely picture of her with the tulips.

The Mayor of Madrid (José Luis Martínez-Almeida - he’s married to a relative of the Spanish Royal Family) is 5’4” apparently and Amalia is said to be 5’9” - so yes, quite the difference when you add in her heeled boots! She looks lovely, though - it’s a great dress on her.

Victoria is on a visit to Nigeria, and looks lovely. Bonus points for co-ordination with her host.

That's a very pretty dress. Sometimes I find large patterns to be too bold, but this is really nice and quite subdued but colourful at the same time. CPV really suits that full skirt, she looks great.

I like CPV's dress, but think it would have been fantastic in a brighter contrasting colourway.

Charles and Camilla have arrived in Italy. There is a State Banquet on Wednesday, apparently, so potential for a tiara 🤷‍♀️

My mother wore dresses like cpv when I was a wee thing. I loved dressing up in the petticoats that were needed.

No. He’s too unwell. Apparently the schedule has been rejigged and it’s better as it gives C&C time to rest.
