The next thread, royal style mavens! The title suggestion was from our last thread. Mary of Teck was never knowingly underdressed or less than bejewelled!

Kate at the V&A East storehouse. It's nice to see her in a trouser suit again, very neat and modern, in a deep blue, with a simple top, but quite strong jewellery. My only quibble would be that the trousers look a little too short, and I don't like them with court shoes, it looks a bit dated.

Does Kate have hair extensions do you think ?

They don't look like extensions. I could be wrong.

I agree @Maireasthat the shorter length trousers with court shoes looks dated. Actually I think court shoes in general look dated.

I think she had extensions once years ago.

I really like her jewellery, particularly her earrings.
The blue is lovely on her and the overall look is functional and smart. Agree that court shoes and shorter trousers now look a bit dated, but I do like her outfit.

Agree that the court shoes look dated now but Kate looks great in that blue suit. I preferred it when she wore it with a darker top last time but that’s me being picky.

Edit to correct: the trousers are not always identical as the white ones are longer and looser but the jackets are near identical other than colour.

I like the trouser suit. But Max’s looks better it’s a bit more modern, the boxy jacket is great and also a more interesting shoe! Kate’s was a bit safe. Her hair would have been better in a ponytail. I looked a bit out of condition.

Interestingly the V&A's website advises not to wear stilettos to the Storehouse, due to the metal grid floors! So was Kate walking on tiptoes all day?

I expect she brings a pair of flats with her as a matter of course.

I really like Max's outfit. I think Catherine tends to stay away from some trends because they don't necessarily suit her figure. I'm not sure that boxy outfit would do her any favours, given her proportions, whereas it's perfect for Max.

Catharina-Amalia has had a serious fall whilst riding and has broken her arm, requiring an operation.

Fred and Mary are visiting the Faroe Islands, and they brought Josephine with them, which hadn't been announced beforehand.

That would be my dream for my working wardrobe! 🤣 I have a collection of blazers and trousers from different brands in different colours, it would be lovely to have something so cohesive.

Absolutely! I'd like a beige one and a burgundy one as well please, not fussed about the pink or purple so happy to swap. And maybe also a teal green and chocolate brown.

Oh yes @RomainingCalm definitely jewellery!! I used to love the accessories when I worked in the office. <deep sigh>

Apparently Catherine wore her stilettos throughout! If you're used to it most things are a doddle and I suppose she wouldn't have minded much had the heels been damaged...always more where those came from! 🙂

I was told off by midwife for wearing two inch mules when pregnant 🤣

I miss wearing heels. Although I find that I feel a bit fuddy duddy when I do wear them these days. Ought to be glad trends are a bit more forgiving now...I wore quite high heels to a wedding recently and wished I hadn't as it just felt a bit outdated.

I really like Max's trouser suit, it's a good shape.

The Faroe Islands are beautiful. Very traditional buildings and communities. The prison has a crazy golf course.
