I take size 10 and I have the Beyond Nine Mabel linen trousers in size XXS. They are a little tight to get over the hips but then fit nicely. There is a lot of fabric in the legs so I didn’t want them any bigger.

faustina · 06/05/2025 19:57

Thank you @ScottishMouse . The only one I've tried so far with a good length is the Erin. I had the 8 but it was way oversized and have just bought the 6 (from Vinted) which is just a bit longer than yours but will be lovely once I've washed it. I might try your style next if they do it in navy.

ScottishMouse · 07/05/2025 13:33

I would be interested in navy too @faustina.

faustina · 07/05/2025 13:43

Have you tried the Erin @ScottishMouse ? It's much shorter than the others except the style you have

ScottishMouse · 07/05/2025 13:48

I haven’t @faustina, I should have a look at it.

Countmeout · 07/05/2025 19:50

Just to say I received the raised stripe cotton skirt in the magnificent blue. Great weight, fabric is similar to the tie tunic from last season. It has lots of material but not overwhelming. Sizing - I usually take XS or S in an elasticated waist. I’m keeping S . I would have liked to try M , S is a wiggle over my hips currently , but it’s sold out at the moment and as I love it I’m not willing to risk one popping up.

ScottishMouse · 07/05/2025 20:30

Is that the new skirt @Countmeout ? I like the look of the green colour. Is it very long? And does it fit like the pleated skirt from earlier in the season, if you tried that? Thanks!

Countmeout · 07/05/2025 20:44

Yes that skirt @ScottishMouse . Yes quite long . I’m 5’4” and it’s about 2/3 inches above my ankle bone. Sorry I didn’t try the pleated skirt. It’s not a generous fit in the waist but is elastic.

ScottishMouse · 07/05/2025 21:04

Thanks @Countmeout. I like both colours.i see it’s now available in my local store, so i might have a look over the next few days. What sort of weight is the fabric - spring/summer only, or year-round with a sweater and tights?

Countmeout · 07/05/2025 22:14

@ScottishMouse Hmm. Might do with sweater and tights as there’s so much material there’s a weight to it. The green would lend itself to autumn / winter best imo.

ScottishMouse · 07/05/2025 22:18

Thanks @Countmeout, will definitely have a look.

ScottishMouse · 08/05/2025 17:28

I bought the blue raised stripe skirt @Countmeout. It’s an absolute cracker. I went in to look at the green and loved that too, but the blue is lovely and fresh for summer. For anyone interested, it is definitely smaller on the waist than the heavier pleat skirt from earlier in the season, I had to go up a size. It is also long, ankle length on me at 5’2”. It is going to get a lot of wear.

Countmeout · 08/05/2025 19:40

I’m glad you like it @ScottishMouse . I thought it was lovely.

faustina · 08/05/2025 19:54

Does anyone have the garment dyed linen shirt? It's disappeared from the website and I want to ask if it's going to be restocked but they always ask for the code so if anyone can be very kind and look at their label I'd be very grateful. Also tips on sizing too please. How can they sell out of their only linen shirt by the beginning of May?? I know they have long ones too but I'm not tall enough for them

ScottishMouse · 08/05/2025 20:00

Was that the boxy one that came in oat and navy @faustina? I ordered the oat but returned it, just checked my email confirmation but it doesn’t include the code sadly.
Size-wise, I found it roomy but not too big in my usual Toast top size (medium).

faustina · 08/05/2025 20:13

Yes it was that one @ScottishMouse - thanks for looking. It's the navy I had on my Wishlist. I thought I remembered someone mentioning it. Was it just the colour that made you return?

ScottishMouse · 08/05/2025 20:21

Yep @faustina. it was almost perfect, and I almost kept it, but the oat was just not super flattering on me and I thought I would probably reach for other (white) shirts first. It’s lovely though, hope it comes back into stock for you.

faustina · 08/05/2025 20:24

Thanks - I'll ask tomorrow on their chat thing. I quite like the idea of something with a collar (but also 3/4 or long sleeves) - I've been googling and not come up with anything similar!

IlovePond · 09/05/2025 15:46

Hi, have any of you ever been to one of Kate Sheridan’s sales at her London premises? There’s one coming up and I am debating whether it’s worth me trying to persuade DH to do a huge drive up there 🙀

faustina · 09/05/2025 19:31

Good luck if you go @IlovePond . I've never been and wouldn't dare as I have far too many of her bags already.

If anyone else was wondering about the linen shirt I mentioned, Toast said it's coming back into stock at the end of the month. They said 'what size are you looking for?" and I said 'I don't know - you've taken it off your website so I don't know the measurements!'. I wonder why they do that if they're planning to restock?

IlovePond · 09/05/2025 23:33

Thanks @faustina - if I go I’ll report back!

Hi, the Kate Sheridan sale is on until 4pm today. Purses start at £20 and bags at £30. It’s Lauriston Road E9, (forgot to say in my previous post 🙈).

DSis came yesterday and got the same bigger bag as me, but in brown and another brown bag with a fold over fastening.

I almost got a crossbody pouch too, but restrained myself!

I shouldn’t have gone back for a hat 🙀

mizu · 11/05/2025 15:46

@IlovePond oh so envious. I have her burgundy tab bag from a few years ago and love it so much. Would love to have gone.

IlovePond · 11/05/2025 15:58

@mizu - apparently it’s their first one for three years at the Hackney premises but they do them a couple of times a year at the bigger Clapton store.

I only knew about it last minute as my DSis is on their mailing list.

Had a little walk around Hackney ‘village’ and Victoria park whilst I was there - very nice!
