Oh glad the jacket got an outing @faustina. So freezing here today, and the heating at my work was broken too. On the first day I had decided not to put a junper on this year. I am still trying to warm up, and tomorrow shall be putting on something woolly and warm. Spring seems a way off yet up here.

I wore a HUGE cashmere jumper underneath and I still ended up with numb hands. My local weather says 17 degrees by Thursday - can't wiait! So sick of wearing a big coat - aren't you @ScottishMouse ?

The lives have definitely lost their appeal for me , maybe I just have a surfeit of everything Toast but even so in the past I’d be planning purchases after a live and this time it had the opposite effect.
The red poplin top looked like scrubs so it’s off the list.

I may buy the beige and red Flower Mountain trainers ( not shown on the live) as I love the pair I own and wear them constantly , otherwise I can’t feel inspired.

Same @OftenOrange. I fast forwarded through the “live” quickly but was not inspired.
Also agree about the stripe top. I ordered this a while back but returned it as I just did not love it on me at all. I thought it was partly because it was too long on me at 5’2”, but it didn’t look good on a taller person with a different shape to me either, so 🤷‍♀️

Apprently there is a sale coming this week! I looked at last years emails and I thing it was a weekend one. I bought a couple of lovely cashmere jumpers

Yes, there was a small weekend sale starting thurs 21/3 last year. Weirdly, I don’t seem to have bought anything in it!

I forgot about the March sale. I bought some lovely Chup socks last year.

I have been trying not to get my hopes up for a spring equinoxish sale, but I am itching to buy myself some treats! If nothing happens this Friday it will be a week of obsessively checking my email and this chat, hopefully not ending in disappointment. I think it might be one of those 3 day sales (if it happens) where if you buy the wrong size there’s no opportunity to re-order. I’ll take what I can get though!

i have a couple of things in my basket that i want/need.

I wonder what they'll have in this sale? I have a wardrobe full of things I haven't worn yet because it's been too cold - the only things I have a gap for are t-shirts and I'd planned to buy them from the new Uniqlo U collection tomorrow - they have some very nice looking supima cotton drapey ones. Could this be the first Toast sale I don't order from?

I’m guessing it will be the dregs of the winter sale, and returns from it @faustina. I only bought one thing in that sale, so I’m not sure there will be much for me. I’d love some homeware, specifically bedlinen.

I thought last summer’s sale was very poor, until I saw what was in/not in the winter 24 one! I hope that any mini spring sale, (assuming it happens), is a bit more exciting.

Having said that, I am hoping to get to the next sample sale, but there is still no news on when it might happen- I am getting fed up of calling to ask. It’s ridiculous that Toast won’t give details in a timely fashion- we don’t all live round the corner!

I’ve ordered the blue cotton linen waistcoat as it keeps coming in and out of stock and I don’t think it will be in the sale for ages. Anyone tried it? Have gambled with the 10 as apparently that’s the same size in the M ecru one from last year

@Snowyowl78 I’ve got that waistcoat in a 12. I’m a busty 12 with narrow shoulders and it’s a good fit for me. It’s much bigger than last years ecru, which I gave up on as I couldn’t get a good fit.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout im normally a 12 in toast but the M worked for me in the Ecru so hopefully the 10 will be ok. Bit worried about washing as it is linen, but I shouldn’t need to wash it much as will likely wear over a tshirt!

This might be the first sale in years where I buy nothing. Same old same old. I can’t see additional discounts for stuff that’s been knocking around for ages either.

Yes I was disappointed and thought 'same old same old', but I was also hoping for a jumper and dress to reappear from a sale over a year ago (I'm sure they had lots left!) which you might have said was same old very old! Perhaps I should have resisted but I've order the Uruguayan handknit jumper- I'm interested to try it on and it is a bit different.
