The return of the bare midriff... in winter! It was wet here yesterday with a really bitter cold wind and I saw several women outdoors, wearing very short, puffy jackets which left at least six inches of naked flesh between jacket and trousers. Also a woman on a station platform in a thin, off the shoulder top, denim skirt and bare legs. How do they stand it?

PS this was daytime, so they weren't nightclubbing, and I don't live in Newcastle!

I have one. It's brilliant for keeping me warm and dry when standing on a muddy field watching DS play football on Saturday mornings.
