She should have gone the full Princess Margaret and worn a massive tiara with it.

Neither the colour or the shape of Max’s outfit say ‘evening wear’ to me. A brighter colour would have been better but caftans seem like either granny style, maternity wear or 1970s throwback to me and don’t seem like Max’s style.

Well someone has had a 40th party! Princess Claire of Luxembourg is 40 today and her and her DHs outfits are FUN! Now if Max’s caftan were this colour I would like it more.
