Have you seen the entire dress @justasking111?

It's like a vertical version of that business in the front, party at the back mullet haircut saying. The dress is 'business at the top, party at the bottom'...different fabric, flared asymmetrical hemline. Too much for me.

Max's dress is very Joe Brown's.

Which isn't 100% a problem for me.

There’s a banquet at the palace in Copenhagen tonight (black tie rather than white tie dress code, so no orders) and Mary looks very glam in the Jenny Packham dress she and Kate both have, and one of her Crown Princess tiaras.

I think it's a bit shiny and form fitting. Good hair and makeup though.

Mary looks great but I prefer the similar deep green dress that Marie has.

Mary does look great. I think that dress might be better in real life - it looks very shiny when photographed.

Still prefer both Kate and Mary in dark green rather than pink though.

That ODLR dress looks a bit too wide on the upper chest on both the model and Máx, so there's a bit of bunching of the material. It's a nice idea but there's something wrong in the execution of it.

I love these photos - the Danish banquet involved dancing after dinner. And not a sedate waltz, obviously!

Very much like a scene out of Pride & Prejudice but with a bit of primary school country dancing lessons thrown it.

Slightly off on a tangent but I've always wondered what it must be like for someone like Mary, Max, Mette Marit & Daniel to go from being 'civilians' to Queen/Crown Princess/Prince?

Do they still look in the mirror & think wtf & giggle about where they are now?

Fred and Mary are on a State Visit to Finland - and look! A new tiara! (I suspect it’s actually an old one Mary has dug out of the vaults?).

Oh, I love that dress and tiara on Mary @Serenster - the colour is beautiful on her. It's kind of a 'Tier 2 Tiara' - one up from the dreaded headband but not quite full-on bling - I like it!

The knowledgeable people of twitter have confirmed that Mary’s tiara and bracelet are both historic pieces pieces from Royal Collection dating back 200 years or so to the 1820s, and from stones acquired during trips to Naples and the area around Pompeii - so likely Roman gems. They haven’t been worn since the 1880s!
