Those are very high! I like her coat, I think she's tired to tone pastels, but I don't think it's worked. Hair and makeup on point.

OMG those heels! The photo isn’t really clear but they look like knitting needles. I don’t think I would ever have been able to walk in them 😱

Multi coloured outfit, headband, statement earrings, statement bag, highest of the high heels - let's take it all to the Max!!!!!

She is gorgeous and has perfect, perfect make up. But a simpler bag, no headband and a different coloured suit or coat so less colours overall would have made this utter perfection as an outfit.

Yes, I was just thinking it's a very Max outfit, and a tad mature for a 21yo.

She’s literally head to toe in MaxMara, so you hit the nail on the head on more ways than one there!

She does look very nature for her years, and it’s clearly a deliberate choice - for contrast see her younger sister Alexia when she launched a ship in her first solo engagement a while back. Obviously the different seasons impacted their outfits, but Amalia is definitely going for a more regal look. I think the pink suit is well-suited to her and the headband and big 80s-style earrings actually make it a bit more youthful - but given they are also very Max, they make it look like she’s raided her mother’s wardrobe!

And while we’re speaking of the next generation of European Royals, Princess Estelle is 13 today and looking very grown up in this new portrait.

Amalia's suit looked better as styled for the Greek wedding last Autumn but of course that's a different season. Alexia is wearing her mother's Oscar de la Renta dress for her ship christening.

I can’t imagine looking at my mother’s extensive wardrobe and thinking “Yep, that frilly cold shoulder dress is JUST what I want to borrow”. But she is Max’s daughter, so …. 😀

My mother never had a fine bosom so we rarely shared clothes. There's a limit to what you can share sometimes.

What a gorgeous photo of Max and daughters. All look stunning. That apricot trouser suit looks fab there, it definitely was just a slight mismatch of colours in the more recent photo.
