Speaking of divisive, here’s Sophie last night at an army dinner in an Erdem dress. Kate has a cocktail length version. She looks very glam.

Anne is back from South Africa and at Sandown Park racecourse, while Mette-Marit was at the International Library of Fashion Research in snowy Oslo.

Love Anne's outfit colour and co-ordination except for one tiny detail - her boots would look better knee high.

Char is out and about celebrating her 47th Birthday. She looks lovely in profile (sorry, can't link a pic.) She does always look pained or sad, but I think that's just her face in repose to be fair. Must admit, I try to have a slight smile when out and about (not in a crazy way, I'm quite smiley anyway!) I think people respond better to smiles - look at Max!

If you're short-waisted then it's a bit harder to get away with anything belted even if you're very slim - Zara, Meghan and Fergie do tend to look a bit trussed up in anything with a well-defined waistline.

That's because they're not flat chested as well

The Japanese Imperial couple visiting a Monet exhibition with their daughter Aiko. I think Masako looks very elegant in her trouser suit, it's a good cut and colour. Princess Aiko's suit I'm not keen on, I think the skirt is quite an unflattering shape. The lady in the kimono looks beautiful, it's such a gorgeous garment.

I can’t find a good photo of the full outfit Catherine is wearing today but the 5 strand pearl necklace is lovely.

Kate's pearls are beautiful. There are a few nice photos in Town and Country, but most of the coverage seems to be in the Fail, etc.
