Longline ‘fitted’ puffer coat quest

Advice needed please for a ladies longline puffer coat which doesn’t make me look like Michelin man. Needs to be good guality to last for years, so I don’t mind paying more for this purchase. Ideally I’m looking for a navy colour with silver trimmings (zip and fasteners). The best ‘fitted’ one I’ve found so far is Joules Cherington but the fasteners etc are a shiny brass colour. I’m 5’8 and size 14/16 Many thanks !!

I got a green one in M&S last year and DD got a brown one, not sure if they have nay this year as I haven't been for a bit

I bought this one last year, I love it and looks really flattering. It's pricey and not in your preferred colour but is very flattering, also runs quite big so size down if you're not sure.

this from Zara is fitted. It looks lovely on the model. Sadly I’m not sure it would be quite the same on 5’3 me… but the fitted-ness is good.

Have you looked at Phase Eight? It’s not a shop I go to for anything else, but I am the same in that I like a puffer but with some shape. Yes I ordered a navy one which was perfect except for very bright brass zip and poppers and buckle … there are a lot of poppers so it spoils the look IMO as I prefer silver and don’t suit gold colours at all. So I sent it back. The online photos of it looked like silver to me, but on closer inspection can see they are brass, it’s just an effect of the lighting. Thanks for your reply 🙂

Thank you that’s lovely, the sort of shape I’m looking for. Unfortunately it doesn’t come in blue (I don’t mind a lighter blue than navy), black really drains me. Navy doesn’t seem to be as popular as black so that is part of the problem, but I need the coat to last for many years so need to be sensible and stick to a colour that suits me well. Thanks for your other suggestion also, its not so fitted but agree about the chevrons giving it some shape, it’s not available in blue ☹️

Thank you, I found that one early on in search and it’s gorgeous but doesn’t come in blue, it’s so nice I spent a long time trying to convince myself that it’s colourways would suit but then put my ‘sensible’ hat on and will stick to searching for blue. Not surprised it gets compliments 😁

Many thanks, agree it’s lovely, but doesn’t come in blue I’m afraid. They have a navy one with a drawstring waist which would work (Mannue Longline) but unfortunately it also has brass zipper etc … navy and brass seems to be a thing at the moment.

Joules is the best for this. My best coat ever. The trimmings are brass and look good with the navy. Doing great even after 6-7 years now
