Longline ‘fitted’ puffer coat quest

Advice needed please for a ladies longline puffer coat which doesn’t make me look like Michelin man. Needs to be good guality to last for years, so I don’t mind paying more for this purchase. Ideally I’m looking for a navy colour with silver trimmings (zip and fasteners). The best ‘fitted’ one I’ve found so far is Joules Cherington but the fasteners etc are a shiny brass colour. I’m 5’8 and size 14/16 Many thanks !!

Most of the ones being suggested are not what I’d call fitted.

I've got the short version of this and it's lovely. Really well made and cosy. I like the more matt finish rather than the shiny look ones.

Thanks, hadn’t looked at these, I’ve spotted some lovely ones in navy, unfortunately they are also pairing with brass zip, studs etc rather than my preference for silver (I am very fussy with large purchases, have learnt over the years to be patient and get it right).

Many thanks ! I hadn’t looked at these and I’ve bookmarked the ‘Women's Wanderweight’. It fits the bill though is ‘packable’, don’t know if that means it could crease and not hang as well but will order to try, and will keep looking at the other suggestions I haven’t had time to investigate yet. I recently bought this one from New Look, which is surprisingly warm for a cheaper coat. The fastenings are definitely silver! The only drawback is that the pockets are a bit shallow but otherwise it's very good for the price. Not super fitted but there is an elasticated bit at the back that pulls the waist in

Esprit have always been my favourite for these kinds of coats, but sadly they've closed their UK website. You can still find their things on other sites - this year's doesn't look fitted enough though:

not all these coats are one of these.

I have a one from trespass called Audrey. It’s navy, close fitting and comes down well past me knees (I am 5ft 9) . It is waterproof, has no brass poppers or zips and a very neat detachable hood and the faux fur trim can also be removed. It doesn’t have a belt but it’s not overly puffy. I am very fussy and I like it 🤣

@nbee84 I was just about to suggest the Rab one! I have it in Graphene and it’s 3 years old now. Wonderful coat and I get lots of remarks how nice it is. Being down, it’s not good in rain. Rab are very good. I tore the sleeve and sent it off to them for a repair at £20. They will clean it for you too-much better than washing it. I would size up-the 12 is a great fit on me an I’m normally a 10.

Thanks, I found some interesting ones on there e.g ‘Navaho Mirenaa’, I’ve not heard of the site before and Trustpilot are showing some very bad reviews for it (only looked back for last two months so maybe it’s a recent thing), there are some 5 star reviews but also lots saying it can’t be trusted, issues such as failing to deliver and not issuing a straightforward refund so I’ll avoid in case I’m one of the unlucky ones. But thanks for the suggestion, has made me realise there are possibles out there which I hadn’t discovered yet.

I have a super dry one, it's beautiful. Really long though, I'm 5'7 and it's about 2 inches above ankle length! On anyone shorter it would skim the floor!

Superdry have this one in all different colours including navy. Gives a lovely silhouette very fitted (I had to go a size up) but warm with decent pockets. Very nice quality.

Thanks, I had discovered ’Heat Seal Puffer Belted Faux Fur Hood Longline Jacket’ and love it ! It only comes in camel, berry and black, no blue, but if anyone else is looking for a nice fitter puffer in other colours it looks lovely.

Mine was Tk Maxx, has an additional body warmer inside with a zip, hidden knitted cuffs and collar. I like the 2 way zip as well so the body is close fitting, but leave the bottom zip partly undone so it flares.
A rare find as our branch isn't up to much.

A Michael Kors chevron one in navy. Very fitted and silver fastenings.

Trespass Audrina in navy blue. Look on the m&m website, you'll get it cheaper than retail price. I've got the navy one and it's the best coat I've ever owned and it's fitted like you want
