Longline ‘fitted’ puffer coat quest

Advice needed please for a ladies longline puffer coat which doesn’t make me look like Michelin man. Needs to be good guality to last for years, so I don’t mind paying more for this purchase. Ideally I’m looking for a navy colour with silver trimmings (zip and fasteners). The best ‘fitted’ one I’ve found so far is Joules Cherington but the fasteners etc are a shiny brass colour. I’m 5’8 and size 14/16 Many thanks !!

I'm an 18. I don't look fat or Michelin-y in it. No silver trim, but on the plus side there's no brass either

I have this Tresspass puffer in black and it’s a flattering fit, much more so than my navy Next one

This isn't fitted, but it's the only one I've tried on that doesn't make me look like the Michelin man. It's very warm and is a neat fit.

I have the Lululemon longline sleet street. It’s fitted and gives a great silhouette. Also super warm.

Arc’teryx have several that fit the bill. Extra warm, well-made, and they last for years

Have a look at the Rab deep cover down parka in Navy.

I tried it on and it has a lovely shape, the website photos actually don't do justice.

Tommy Hilfiger have a couple in navy, with navy zip. Not fitted, but not bulky either and the filling is down, not polyester.

Yes, that's exactly what I was going to suggest, but it's the silver hardware that's tricky.

I spent hours last year searching for a long black puffer coat which didn't make me look like a giant marshmallow and finally bought a longline one from Holland Cooper which I adore.

But having checked, all the navy ones have gold hardwear, which is annoying.

Many thanks to all the posters who’ve taken time to make suggestions which I haven’t replied too, I’m working through them all, I’ve bookmarked quite a few to consider ordering and will whittle it down. I’m still resisting some really lovely suggestions with bronze trimmings, or not in blue. I’ve also been introduced to brands/sites I hadn’t heard of so have learnt a lot 😁

I’ve also got the trespass one in navy. I really like it. It’s fitted, warm and looks smart enough for a puffer. I’ve had many school run compliments on it!

I suit navy better than black as well. I currently wear a Helly Hansen, but it the lined waterproof, not a puffer.
