Very excited to be creating this thread to discuss the Pelegrims subscription box - my first one arrived today!

Thanks @HundredMilesAnHour for starting this new thread. I thought my box was coming today but it looks like tomorrow now. I've got no expectations of what's going to be in it - so as long as it's not Seaweed Tea or a beetroot probiotic, I'll be happy. 😀

Ha @nicnicspicnic you made me laugh! No more dodgy drinks I hope! Surely with Pelegrims any drinks would be wine/grape related which is much more appealing 😜

I also really like the paper explaining the contents. I hated when Haeckels started using a QR code as that meant I had to go and get my phone to read it and I try to 'digital detox' when I can so much prefer paper. I also get easily distracted so will usually start doing something else before I get as far as scanning the QR code. Sad but true. 🙄😂

Is that not normal behaviour? I forget why I've picked the phone up 😆

How does the subscription work? Do you pay every 3 months, or every month?

It's every 3 months so not drowning in too many products but still excitement looking foward to it!

I love this month's box and the facial oil alone is worth over £50

I received my box yesterday. I'm really impressed with the products and the amount. Every 3 months is just right - especially considering I also get the quarterly Liberty box and I decided to get the Haeckels gift voucher when my annual subscription was stopped. I might even light the candle this evening.

I tried the shampoo yesterday and I was surprisingly impressed. I couldn't get the pump to work 🙄but I really liked the scent of the shampoo and my hair felt great afterwards. My peri-menopausal hair is extremely difficult and in recent years, I've stuck with Kerastase as everything else makes it feel like crispy straw. So very pleasantly surprised that my hair liked the Pelegrims shampoo. I certainly wasn't expecting it.

I've not tried anything yet. Love a facial oil but I'm only half way down a bottle from Haeckels. I was going to give the shampoo to DH and DS as they like a mint shampoo but I might try it now.

The candle will be used soon.

Daft question, is the bar face or body?

@Cyclingmummy1 I'm assuming the bar is body (so like the Haeckels one) but haven't tried it yet. It's made it to the bathroom but I'm just finishing off my Haeckels Capella body wash.

I've been using the facial oil and I quite like it despite not being big on facial oils (I usually give them away).

Well I've finally got round to trying everything in the box. The shampoo is good on my super fine hair that needs washing every day. Although I use quite a few pumps to get a good lather so it won't last long. I really like the facial oil. The smell is lovely and it doesn't seem to be as greasy as the Haeckels reef oil. I haven't lit the candle yet but it makes my office smell fresh just being on my desk. I got through the soap really quickly and it has inspired me to have another go at making my own soap again - one of my many hobbies I obsessed over and then loss interest with! I'm looking forward to seeing what will be in the next box.

Has anybody received their January box yet? I'm looking forward to mine hopefully in the next few days

I thought it was the end of the month. My payment isn't due until the 30th.

My payment came out on the 9th December. Their website says the box ships the first week of January so hopefully this week. I'm looking forward to receiving it.

I've still not used the oil from the last box.

DH and DS are enjoying the shampoo and the candle was lovely.
