Very excited to be creating this thread to discuss the Pelegrims subscription box - my first one arrived today!

I’ll definitely be buying again - it seems to be “plumping” my skin up and reducing lines. I love it. I’ve also been putting the bath salts to good use.

Absolutely love this box!

When I first got the box i was a bit 'meh' about the bath salts and masks. I normally have showers and I'm not keen on sheet masks. But I tried the salts out and they were lovely - a gorgeous smell and really moisturising. Still not keen on sheet masks, but that's just me. I love the balm and use it every day. Even my combination skin likes it and it will be something to reorder.

I absolutely love sheet masks so a real win for me.

I've not tried the balm yet, I have a large pot of Haeckels night time which is taking ages to get through.

I have the sheet mask on as I’m typing this. I love a sheet mask!

I’m less delighted with the bath salts but that’s only because I’m a shower person and I VERY rarely have baths (like once a decade!). I like that they’re a big jar though. That’s more than a lifetime of baths for me. 😂

I’m curious to try the face oil. I usually don’t like them but the one from the previous box has really agreed with me.

So far everything from Pelegrims has been lovely. I’m very happy. I really like their personal touch. I recommended somewhere to them that might be interested in stocking some of their products (and the place said yes!) and I had some lovely emails from Jerome, one of the two founders.

Had a lovely bath at the weekend with a handful of salts and a face mask.

I've started the oil from the last box too so will report back.

DS and DH still loving the shampoo.

I used one of the sheet masks today and it was lovely. I also used to subscribe to the Haeckels box when it was around and feel as though this box works much better – quarterly is definitely the answer! I did a clean up in the bathroom the other day and realised I still have quite a bit from the Haeckels boxes sitting around (tea, room sprays, lip balm that I found really difficult to use as it was so solid... and my bath salts turned to liquid in the bag!)

Must be nearly time for the next box?

I'd like a cleanser.

I gave my bath salts to a friend (I’m not a bath person) but have loved everything else so far.

Just thinking... was there a swap in the last box so we know what one of this quarter's items is?

I haven't had any money taken out of my account yet for the box. Has anybody else?.

Yes @Cyclingmummy1 last quarter they didn’t have enough Exploration Sets to send out so they said we’d get one this quarter:

Anyone had their money taken yet? I'm still waiting, but it's just occurred to me that I might have had a new CC since the last box as mine was hacked.

I messaged Pelegrims to chase up my box and got this reply -

I've just checked and your next box is due to be generated on the system end of this month - would you prefer to have this sooner and I'll manually process it now?

Of course I've requested it is sent out sooner. 😀

Yes @nicnicspicnic I think when we all signed up, they put our date as month end (rather than much earlier in the month when we actually signed up) so suspect this will happen with every box. 🤦‍♀️ I’m too lazy to email them this time. Slightly irritating but having been stuck in traffic so bad this afternoon that it took me a whole hour to drive 400 metres (!!!), I’m very aware that there are much more irritating things in life. 😛 I may feel differently in a few days once the usual box impatience sets in though!

Mine is due on Monday now @HundredMilesAnHour so be prepared for box envy 😆

I received my box this morning and no spoilers but 😍. It's my best one so far.

Ok you got me @nicnicspicnic and @Cyclingmummy1. I just emailed Pelegrims and asked them to send my box asap. I was trying to be all Zen this time but clearly the power of FOMO runs stronger through my veins. 😂

It's a good box. Not particularly exciting but great value.

I’m curious what you guys think of the sample. Am I just a complete peasant as after spraying it on my pillow, I don’t really notice anything after the immediate few seconds?

I like the hand cream, my hands have been very dry recently so I'm hoping for great things.

Looking forward to the cleanser too. I have Liz Earle at the minute from the J L December edit and feel a bit meh towards it, particularly as it gets such great press.

I'll keep the mini kit for my weekend away next month.

I’m looking forward to trying the cleanser too @Cyclingmummy1 I’m just finishing off my last Haeckels one and was looking for a non-Haeckels replacement (as I’m so weary of their price rises and the recent uber woke bs) so this is perfect timing!

I haven’t tried the hand cream yet (I have a huge vat of Gloved hand lotion that I’m addicted to) but I’ve previously used 2 of the 3 travel kit products and was very happy and impressed. So far I am loving everything from Pelegrims from their products to their interaction. They have all the good things I loved about Haeckels such as creativity and ethics without the wokeness / completely lack of reliability. Here’s hoping this continues.

I also really like them keeping their subscription price the same for existing subscribers.

I agree, not a bad product yet @HundredMilesAnHour and really pleased with the price freeze.

I enjoyed the Haeckels cleanser but think I'll go back to Espa long term.
