We still have 2 months to go so there's still time for dilemmas, decisions and discounts.

We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

Anyone remember whether Sephora was reduced last year? DD1 wants it but I'm definitely not spending £200 on a 15 year old!

Maybe I'll do LF for her instead. I also have a younger teen so they could share it.

SpaceNk Xmas Bags have been released as well today as an alternative to the Cult Beauty ones release yesterday. Anyone tempted?

Are there any perfume edits due out from now until Christmas? I had a really good CB one earlier in the year.

Better than the CB ones IMO, although also more expensive, but even then I think better value for money. Not tempted though, due to my already huge stash and the fact I have the Space NK advent. There are some duplicates. Also I haaate the LM Ultra Blur powder with a passion, despite using the normal powder every day.

Yes, I believe it's supposed to be from 25th onwards as the '12 days of Christmas', but I don't think I'm prepared to wait, plus I'm away from the 27th.

Or maybe I would? Decisions decisions...

Would there be appetite to start a scent thread on 14th for the 12 day fragrance ones?? @MiaN and any others?

Anyone into fragrances, the perfume shop AC has just arrived and I've unboxed it, really good selection of perfumes admittedly more mass market than high end but brilliant value at £85 for 23 bottle plus 1 atomizer.

Mostly the 5ml dab on size but a few larger samples in there too

I can't get over how cheap it is! Lovely box too

Restraining myself from buying anything beauty related, despite all the temptations, as I am definitely going to Bicester on Friday. I will report back if I see any bargains.

I got my 15 year old the Glossy Box calendar. It looks nice :)

My Penhaligon’s has arrived. The “gift wrap” was just Penhaligon’s tissue paper loosely folded round the items. Then some black paper round that. The tissue has already ripped! The items look nice though. A ribbon round the gift set with tag attached for gifting.

I noticed you mentioned the Olverum bath oil that I keep hearing amazing things about.

Which is the most reasonable website to buy it?

It's in the John Lewis AC but, apart from that, that wasn't much else I fancied so that would be one veeery expensive bath oil!

The listing for this seems to contradict itself and suggests you get a total of 30ml of perfume for £85. The product details suggest it’s much more than that. Would you mind confirming please? I love the idea but not if it’s only 30ml in total. Also, are the bottles cute miniatures or standard vials? I realise I am demanding lots of info - sorry - and thank you in advance. 🤗 really I have enough already but if it’s cute bottles, I doubt I will be able to resist!

Similar here - despite it being very clear I'd selected a bag and tag at checkout it was just wrapped in (very pretty) tissue and one of my samples was missing

No, there are 23 bottles of perfume, smallest is 4ml, lots are more. Biggest is 15ml. Lots around the 7, 8, 10ml mark. It's decent.

Oh and it's mainly cute bottles especially the lady million one, which is like a jewel!

I'm determined to buy no more AC's or Edits this year. I have to find my resolve and draw a line (only exception being BF if something good gets insanely reduced and I'm fortunate enough to bag one). Think I have enough stuff now to pamper my entire street.
