Beauty advent calendars 2024 #4

We still have 2 months to go so there's still time for dilemmas, decisions and discounts.

We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

When you look at the pictures Dyptique Eau Rose is shown but in the listing of contents I don't see it. Perhaps it's been swapped out?

fragrance is incredibly personal so don't take my notes on fragrances as given, it's just one opinion. It's kind of good to have 10ml sizes if you are just getting into fragrances as your personal preferance can change

Have a look at the photo, it's next to Jo loves at bottom left. In the first photo with the box is top left the first. Diptique are also listed in the description and Really ree listing

I would trust what Space NK say is in the calendar more than what a third party say is in it. I certainly wouldn't order it hoping it would have Eau Rose in it when it isn't listed in the contents on their website.

It's strange but they have it in their own promo photos, in every single photo - top left in first photo, second left to right on top in the 3rd photo and second on the bottom row on the last photo. Diptyque are also listed in their own description on spacenk website. Not only listed but it is first to be mentioned

It's possible they missed listing it but they seem to be bit of a mess with advents this year so better double check. Manzanita Capital owns both Diptyque and Space NK and they always seem to include them in advents or sets so I feel between the common owner, the 3 promo photos with it and being listed as included brand in the description it is more likely just a miss. Checking is good idea to be on the safe side if it's one of the deciding factors.

I couldn't stop myself when the link was posted the other day and I was also able to add three samples at checkout on top of the two free gifts!

Re: Penhaligons - can someone confirm that the perfumes/eau de toilettes come without atomisers? I can’t see any spray paraphernalia in the pics.

@IlovePond I bought the portraits collection, the little Quercus set, a bottle of Artemisia, and a couple of lip balms to take me over the £160. There are some really good bargains, aren't there. I've done well with Penhaligons this year - I keep looking lovingly at my advent calendar 😆😆

Hi I've looked at TikTok vids about penhaligons and I think they do come with atomisers / sprayers

I've had a couple of 10ml Penhaligon fragrances in other advent calendars and they definitely had sprays.

@IlovePond I actually bought last year's calendar, not the current one. Someone on here had seen it at half price in an outlet store, and when I rang them, they were happy to post it to me.

@EnfysHeulenEira snd @Growlybear83 - thanks for the atomiser info - I much prefer sprays to the open necked type of perfume.

Does anyone know if there's likely to be any money off the Diptyque advent calendar? I'm obsessed with it but I don't know if I can justify the price 😫

It’s never reduced unfortunately. I’m obsessed too but ultimately decided not to buy, it’s just a bit overpriced for an impulse buy.. already thinking about treating myself next year though!

@DressOrSkirt I agree that the Diptyque calendar looks lovely, but I can't justify spending that much!this year. I think the Jo Loves calendar box is really nice too.
