We still have 2 months to go so there's still time for dilemmas, decisions and discounts.

We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

Keeping eyes out for future, is French Pharmacy a uk company? Wondering how it works with shipping , tax and excise etc

Not sure if this one has been mentioned... Hogies Beauty Advent £60 worth £300. Has lots of urban decay, Victoria secret, anastasia Beverly hills, opi and others.

At the top of the page it mentions taxes, etc. if shipping TO the EU so I think we’d be ok.

Has anyone now received a message regarding dispatch of the Flannels fragrance cracker? Yesterday was an email advising of a delay and that it wouldn't even be in the warehouse till the 18th, today a notification that it's being prepared for dispatch. Colour me confused. Logistics this year are an emotional rollercoaster.

@TriciaMcMillan yep just got the same email. To be honest I had the same hassle with Flannels last year which resulted in them cancelling my mens cracker as out of stock and then having to buy it later ( with the additional delivery charge) as it was not out of stock after all. So if they actually deliver my order this year first attempt that will be a win for me

@Sunnydaysarehereonceagain that AC from French Pharmacy is so so gorgeous! not surprised it has old out.

I was in my local Space NK shop today and I asked about the calendar. She said that she thinks they are doing another drop and that it will be on-line only, so we'll have to wait and see. That said there's no 'Notify me' option now.

Yes French Pharmacy is a UK based shop in London. Their AC sold quickly last year as well. In this year offering, the Lierac serum makes up for most of the spend. The AC is absolutely lovely (better than last year I think) although they have a lot of small sizes. It was my only real want so far this year along with Harrods.
Bought nothing so far, I'm holding off and will be ordering the Bridal Beauty version as soon as they bring any Christmassy mystery box out.

@Choux - if you go, could you report back on French Pharmacy and its general loveliness- I could be tempted to mount an expedition! Thanks

Sorry if this has been mentioned but I asked in store about space nk fragrance advent calendar. It’s released on 15th and will be available online only, not in store.

Harrods advent on it's way! I hope it arrives over the weekend as they said in the confirmation as I have one hour drive to collect it to NI (based in Ireland) and it would be nice to make a day out of it.

I think I’ve talked myself out of Space NK fragrance. There’s a couple I want to try but I may take my chances on Vinted with those

I’m still a one calendar woman. My Space NK is just sat looking at me from the windowsill. I’m glad CB has now sold out and I’m still a tiny bit tempted by Look Fantastic but I think I will resist baring an incredible discount which I don’t see happening.

I did see the Space NK fragrance calendar but the only perfume I know I love from it was Lazy Sunday Morning and I didn’t want to risk a lot of duds (I’m fussy). I then found the Lazy Sunday Morning gift set on Look Fantastic with 25% off which brought it down to £60 for a 30ml and 7ml of LSM and a 10ml of On a Date which I haven’t yet sniffed. This time of year is crippling for the bank balance!

I feel Penhaligon's 2023 is great for sharing. Good few are crowd pleasing.

Harvey Nichols is also fantastic to share - the gents in my house got about 112 ml of perfume in total, I picked 80ml and 5ml went in the bin as I know and dislike the perfume with passion. There are a lot of brave choices, very highly rated fragrances. When you have such great choice of different perfumes I feel it is very likely that you will love some and not like others. Both my son and my husband found few they love, and so did I. I really think they have done great job if you are sharing it and you don't expect to like everything. There are few more simple/crowd pleasing freshies but generally good few are strong potentially polarising scents you wont wear in the office. Higher risk, higher reward potential :)
