We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

Hi, I just visited HoF to find that the branch is closing down. I feel so sorry for the staff.

Almost everything, including this year’s Xmas beauty gifts, had 20% off. I looked at the Clarins calendar, but I was right - it is exactly the same as the one I bought last year, (and I didn’t like some of the stuff in there when I tried it - e.g. the lip oil). I do suspect it’s last year’s leftover stock popped into a new box, and £16+ more expensive!

Ah, Harrods fragrance is now out of stock. I would have ordered even though I really don’t need it 😏

I definitely don't need the Harrods and honestly I don't like tabacco and oud so not sure how it will work for me. However my teen son loves oud and is happy to share. I hope they don't cancel the order

Hope Harrods come through with the Fragrance orders. There is one in particular that I absolutely love. I haven’t tried them all yet though

I think you may have struck lucky with your branch. I've just spoken to Knightsbridge and was told they definitely haven't got it yet and it will be going on sale on the 14th. The woman I spoke to sounded very fierce but also sounded as though she knew what she was talking about 😆😆. It will be interesting to see if anyone else is able to buy it yet.

They had promo photos that they will be available from 17th, but after short chat the manager was called and I was told I can buy one. I had to buy it.

I’ve just ordered the shiseido calendar. I used to use lots of their makeup so am quite interested to try their skin care. I put it in my basket earlier and they emailed me a 15% off code a couple of hours later, taking it down to £146. Got free postage and 3 samples. Also got £15 on TCB. Think I’m done now, no more calendars for me!!

😆😆. It would have been very unreasonable not to have sold one to you! I'm glad you've got it.

@CocoMascara - I signed up for shiseido because I quite fancied the a/c. They sent me a 15% code but when I tried to use it, it came back invalid! I have messaged them, but I am not pleased 😿

Having said that, I have never tried Shiseido, (been wanting to for ages), but maybe I should try some individual first rather than leaping straight into an a/c!

I've been debating this one even though under no circumstances do I need another advent calendar. I found the code they sent me when I joined the waitlist which doesn't work either. It's supposed to be valid for a while yet. I tried it against a single product in case the advent calendar was excluded but it didn't work at all.

The code for the current GWP works with the AC though. Code is ADVANCED and it adds a nice bag with 3 mini products.

It's just sat there in my basket at the moment whilst I ponder the foolishness of buying. I'm not keen on any of the make up, it's the skincare I'm interested in and maybe the perfume and body lotion but most are small samples so I'd probably be better off looking on Vinted for people selling bits on.

There is something about this AC that is aesthetically pleasing though and it's not so expensive that it's an immediate no.

@IlovePond @OvaHere Try leaving the calendar in your basket for a bit. My 15% joining code didn’t work either initially. I logged in, put the calendar in the basket and then left it. I got a 15% off email a couple of hours later, I had to click through that email and a completely new code appeared. I could then log in via TBC and the code was still there. Maybe the GWP would stack? Re the makeup- I LOVE that colour eyeliner!!!

My Bibbi Ghost of Tom has only worked for 3 spritz's. Can anyone remember if it was in the Liberty calendar last year?

Email them and complain - my Tudor fragrance from that AC was rubbish (smelled of nothing at all) and they sent me a £20 voucher.

@clary thank you. It would have only been the calendar or beauty box as that is the only items I had received from Liberty. I will send them a message. It doesn't seem that you can pull the top off to decant into one of the travel atomisers.

Can confirm I had a discount code this morning and it also stacked with the GWP which was too much temptation so I bought it for £146.

Oh and I also have £18.27 pending from TCB bringing the cost down further.

The whole website would benefit from an update. At first I tried to access the code on my laptop which did nothing so I went in via my phone and the code popped up then. The initial PayPal button wouldn't work either - you have to choose checkout, fill in all your details, then choose Paypal for it to work.

Any status updates on yesterday's Harrods fragrance orders? Mine is showing in review

@CocoMascara The GWP was free with orders over £100. Might be worth contacting them and asking if they will add it because you didn't see it in time. You still spent over 100. They should add automatically really.

Glad I didn't manage to get the harrods fragrance now - sounds like any orders are still up in the air. I think I'll await the Space NK fragrance box - some goodies in there - tried Boy Smells Hinoki last year and despite the stupid name (makes me think of the stink from my teenage son's room) I quite liked it and it is in there this year. Also Vyrao witchy woo which I have tried and isn't an everyday perfume for me but would be good for occasions
