We still have 2 months to go so there's still time for dilemmas, decisions and discounts.

We have a few coming out this week including John Lewis, OK and No7. I'm still WAC (without advent calendar) but that may soon change!

Anyone buying the Holland and Barrett one? I M on the fence….dont like the look of M&S or no 7 this year. I’m not sure whether to wait or if it will sell out if I dither too long.

I was tempted but on closer look there were too many duds for me. I think it will sell out soon though as it's one of the best value ones.

@Ilikeviognier - H&B often sells out quite quickly - I am quite surprised it’s still available as it’s usually very popular. I’ve had it a couple of times in previous years and liked it.

If the toothpaste, for example, isn’t for you, you could always sell it on eBay, (I did that once), or donate to a food bank, (I did that with another one).

It all depends whether you like natural products/are wanting to give them a go. I found I liked a few things a lot and repurchased, others, not so much.

A couple of years ago it was reduced by £20 as it started off at £55. Don't think they reduced last year so maybe sold them all.

Thanks Apple ... I've had my eye on that, full sizes and on Liberty it comes with the free gift also. Plus I've a loyalty voucher which would bring the lot down to £105. Which by my mental gymnastics makes it a good buy

I wondered if anyone has ever had the Federico Mahoro calendar? I've never heard of them until today.

Keep an eye on QVC. They had a Sunday Riley kit yesterday for £66 on deal of the day but unfortunately it's back to £132 now.

Went for a mooch in Harvey Nicks today. They have the advent calendar all over the store even in the kitchen section. I have a feeling it's one that might get discounted at some point.

Also the deal with the GWP is worth it. I bought a couple of products the other week used a discount code for either 10 or 15% off then sold the GWP on Vinted for £20 bringing the cost down even more. I can't remember which site I used now it was either Cult Beauty or SpaceNK. I think the latter.

I'd never heard of them so googled - £400?! For a load of dupes? I wouldn't even be tempted, I'd be getting Penhaligons, Diptyque, Jo Loves or Jo Malone if I had that sort of budget.

Has anyone had the Sephora advent calendar before?

@JudgeBurrito Sorry, I probably should have said that I've seen a couple of them on eBay for £50! I saw the full price when I googled it, but if anyone has tried their fragrances and they're nice, I might be tempted to risk one on eBay.

Okay. So I'm sorted with my Sunday Riley bits!

Got the Wake up with me Kit and a 20% off discount appeared in the basket. Happy Days. Except it took me even further under the free gift £ threshold. You know when you know there's gift and you're so close to getting it?!

So I added the 15ml Juno face oil which then had the 20% off again. So total of £86.40 with gift.

Very chuffed. Although whilst faffing with this I've also been trying to watch the first episode of new season Slow Horses so am very confused and need to rewind.

@pandapopadance The Sephora advent calendar hasn’t been discussed much on here but I think it looks pretty good - more make up than some, and then quite a good mix of skincare, bath and body, fragrance and hair care so good if you want a bit of everything. I think it compares reasonably well with John Lewis, which is similarly priced.

Just discovered that I’m going to have to buy a full size Merchant of Venice, Queen of the Night. 🥰
Opened some of my Harrods fragrance advent Friday evening and now I’m hooked on that particular scent.
I was thinking of getting the Jo Malone advent, but I’ve already 3 calendars and I bought all of the hourglass dragon set…including the set of brushes in the container!
Far too addictive this time of year, still have Chantecaille holiday sets, plus the Dyptique Christmas sets to come. 🤯

Have you looked on Vinted? There are lots of the 10ml bottles of this scent for around £20.

SpaceNK have again disabled their shop search function for the advent calendar. I can’t believe there isn’t one in stock somewhere - at least you should be able to search and confirm it for!

I shouldn’t be looking at it anyway. I had plenty of chances to buy it, but I think I have FOMO!
