I had to delay Royal Mail until Monday for my SpaceNK as I'm out tomorrow when it's due.

I will check out Next as per earlier poster's suggestion, don't think I've looked at this yet. Although must remember I'm looking for fun and not shopping!

I know the target market is probably not anyone on here but has anyone got the W7 calendar previously? My dd is just 13 and I'm wondering if this would be a good option as it's only £20. She lives makeup but £50 is a significant chunk of her present budget and she will have a long list of presents as well.....

Mine expire in December so looks like they give you 3 months notice.

I was told with Boots points that you can't use them towards purchases, which is annoying

@CannotBeBothered2025 - where does it show an expiry for the points? I can’t see it on the app.

Boots points expire if you don't use your card in more than a year. And you have to use the full amount, you can't part pay with points.

Does anyone know whether Lancôme will do an advent calendar this year? I really like their products and would love it if they did a good one.

Squee ! My H&B Advent has arrived. Dithering over LF. Hmm...will hold off I think and see what Bridal Beauty are doing, I was impressed last year with the lucky box and Jurlique calendar.

Out of interest, will you pool all of your best bits into a single calendar or just have it all now?

I think I'm going to give in and order Space NK. I really wanted to wait for a GWP as I recall they did one last year, but I'll be gutted if it sells out. Just checked stocks online in stores and several didn't have any.

Not at all beauty but I’m being spammed on Instragram by a Gilmore Girls calendar. It’s £25 so I doubt it’s full of quality items but it does look cute

@GreatMistakes . I have Harrods I intend to Gift/sell/give away stuff I won’t use (AB Retinol serum I am looking at you!) and add some of my stuff from my recent GWP so I end up with one great Advent. If I buy another I will do the same just switch the boxes around and get rid of stuff I don’t want or repeats. I really have too much stuff so I intend to be really strict with myself so that I only end up with one calendar with 25 products I really want/need not like last year when I was drowning in product most of which is still languishing in a drawer upstairs

Space NK replied to me and said that my calendar is currently in their warehouse, awaiting dispatch.

I am truly sorry not really that I ever clicked on this terrible thread...

I have bought these calendars:

• Harrods fragrance (from ebay)
• Space NK
• Clarins
• Diptyque
• Jo Malone (the minute it's available)

That isn't even everything. I have bought Jo Malone's Marmalade cologne (a few), a JPG set and the new Diptyque fragrance set.

I have never, ever bought so much in my life. You are awful! ... but thank you!

I haven't actually thought about it, Puravida23. I still have an unopened Diptyque and Jo Malone calendar from last year. I don't know why I haven't opened them? I need to, I wanted them so, so much! I don't know if it's delayed gratification taken to extreme or just insanity for buying them?

Reading through this thread (not for more inspiration of calendars to buy!), I will probably find that some of the things aren't for me so I will gather them up and maybe sell them?

I only have the Harrods one in hand, the others are arriving. Poor courier(s).

Highly recommend going through your stash and plonking it on Vinted, I like the thought that my DoDs are making someone else happy. And obviously you get money for it...

Soooo excited Harrods Fragrance order number 4 has actually shipped and is with DHL :) I can rest easy now it's in the way. By December all the hassles will be a distant memory!

Yes, they do. I recently had an e-mail telling me to use mine as they would be expiring soon. The bloody annoying thing about Boots points is that you have to have enough to cover the entire purchase price including delivery. You can’t just put them towards the cost and pay the balance.

I thought you just had to use the card so you don't need to spend any points, you can add them with a small purchase.

Not being able to use them towards a purchase is a pain. I have €75 on mine and plan on getting some perfume in the the sale after Christmas but all the ones I like are unlikely to be reduced enough.

@IDontHateRainbows sorry do you mean you’ve been able to take the best hits from these calendars and sell the rest of the stuff to in effect have free stuff because you make your money back? If so how on earth I must have been doing it all wrong last year I seen people saying about eBay vinted so the couple of things I didn’t want I tried sticking on there and got like a fiver per item if lucky
