I got space nk for me and liberty with my vouchers for my sister. I’ve been having treatment this year so I think part of wanted to get her something really nice in case I croak it. I need a make up heavy one for one my nieces but I’m not going over £100 so will wait for any offers.

Reading these threads has made me lust after the harrods fragrance calendar. Obviously I’m too late this year but I am determined to get it next year, what’s the best way to get on the priority list so I can order straight away next year?

I’ve gone for Dermalogica this year as I use the products anyway and think the minis would be good for travelling. I’m also contemplating the bare minerals as I fancy trying some of their products. Thanks for the thread, really enjoying it.

Thanks for the new thread. Don't think I will buy any more at full price now but keeping an eye for any that don't sell out and get discounted.

I'd quite like to get DD the Charlotte Tilbury one but I don't think it's great value at the current price so looking to see if that comes down in price in a month or two.

Yes, mine too. It originally said September 20th, now it says September 29th.

I just emailed them to clarify, because it isn't clear if that refers to new orders or not

Has anyone ever bought the White Company advent? And does it just sell out or are there any reductions usually? I feel like it's pricey for what it is but I do want it!!!

Same here with SpaceNK - just checked again and is says "should be with you in 3-4 days" but then says dispatch 27th . Keeps changing!

I only got the shipping email at 4.30pm yesterday but I'm here tomorrow morning as well.

I've had to get my husband to fish out a couple of items from previous ACs and it was hilarious as he knows nothing about beauty.

The cult beauty one in 2022 had a sleep mask and I wanted it for a holiday in the November, so got him to try and find it without revealing anything other products to me 😂

I’ve finally given in and ordered Space NK.
I went back on Harrods website this morning, it said 1 left and when I tried to add to basket it said sold out. I feel like I’ve spent enough time on it all now.
It says expected delivery 27th September for me. To be honest I don’t mind how late it comes as long as I have it for December, it’s just one less thing to store away

He’s a good sport! I imagine he was feeling the pressure on that one 😁

Also just to mention that when I ordered the Space NK, I went through TopCashback and the value for new customers had gone up from 7% to 9%, for anyone still thinking about getting one

I had an email this morning about the white company being available. Think it looks very good this year, if I hadn’t just bought Liberty, I would have been considering it. They normally send a 15% discount code at some point and it sells out every year. I agree it is a bit pricey (better with 15% off!), but is very tempting!

@dottyaboutstripes the last two years I've tried to get TWC advent in the white weekend thing they do, but it sold out just before!

So if you want it, try and find cash back or a 15 percent loyalty discount and get it if you want to be sure.

It's usually solid and fans of TWC fragrance candles etc do snap it up....always the chance it's a dud this year though!

@Georgieporgie29 I was keen to get Harrods fragrance AC after being too slow last year. I keep an eye on beautyadventcalender.com and these threads. Harrods have a sign up for alerts too.

Yes I had the email re white company. I have a 10% but I've also bought space nk plus I don't really have anywhere to stash all this stuff because I already have so much . I think I need an intervention 😆

'Worth' is subjective, if JL is worth it to you at full price then don't hold back based on what others have said (including me). Part of the value also comes from how much enjoyment you personally will get from it, as well as the raw value of the contents. I've had beauty ACs since 2019 (most years more than one) so I'm pretty jaded now, if it was my first year I'd be snapping up JL I think.

@SoloCat I'm not keen on the pistachio perfume, too sugary for me. It's sweeter than Flowerbomb IMO, which I find very sweet. I had a sample of it once, just looked and I didn't realise how expensive it is to buy!

I've bought 3 ACs now with the intention of creaming off the best picks for my own personal stash and selling the rest to pay for it so I am not actually paying anything - important to note that I am currently out of work and very bored so I'm doing this more as a game/way to keep myself occupied and not spend money I don't have more than anything else. So far so good, I've had liberty harrords and next premium and on target to make my money back (liberty was bought half with beauty drop credit) and squirreled away a lovely stash of a few things off each calendar. If I manage to make my money back by the end of the month I'll be doing the same with John Lewis Selfridges and Harvey Nicks next month.

Next premium not been mentioned much on here but I'd quite rate it for £170, it had the most things I wanted to keep for personal use including a too faced eyeliner, benetint, by terry full size baume de rose lip serum and a couple of slip scrunchies,

Do they? I bought my Dyson hair dryer with boots points and saved for years for it. That must me a new thing… off to check the expiry on mine…

I think as long as you've used Boots within the past year then the points are safe? Don't quote me on that though.

Not an advent but I received an email from Naturismo this morning and thought how nice their beauty bags are. I got H&B advent so can't spend any more on skincare but praps in a few months time.

My Space NK is due to be delivered in the next hour or so. I’m wondering where I can store it so I don’t have to look at it everyday and resist the temptation of opening it! Although I do want my free samples out of the box. I chose the exfolikate and the Hermès perfume sample and I hope they’ve actually remembered to put them in. Quite often I’ll get nothing or something completely different to what I selected.

I have £143 worth of points and they don't have an expiry on them? Saving for a Dyson hairdryer.

My Space NK is due to be delivered tomorrow - probably better than today as someone will be in. Beyond excited!
