I'm surprised it cost that much in 2018

Can't believe how many minis are in that 2018 space nk calendar for £250! They are soooo much better now. This is the result of all the luxury Beauty ACs being in competition with each other the past few years. I can only imagine how much better they could be in 2030!

I had the SpaceNK every single year since the first apart from last year. I haven't been disappointed, they are good fun

Very interesting to see SpaceNK from 2018 as expensive calandars were not on my radar at all! I had the first M&S and continued happily with just that for years until 2022 when the luxury madness descended!

I just had thd rituals one, and the cheap one not the expensive one.

My hos things have changed!

That does seem pricey for 2018! And only worth £600. I had Space NK in 2020 and looking back I still think it was excellent. £195 for £600 worth, and I got Blue Light discount (before they got wise to that!) so think I got it for about £160. Diptyque, Jo Loves, Byredo, Hourglass, Chantecaille... Calendar of dreams.

I was watching the Cosmetopia video the other day where she prised off the lid of the advent sized AB cream and showed the tiny amount that it contains. “£65 PEOPLE!” 😁

It never does last long. I wonder if anyone actually buys this stuff outside the ACs

I had my first space nk calendar in 2019 and I got it at a very reduced price. I don't think that many people knew about them back then.

It was also the first year I bought Cult Beauty and F&M. I think that they both launched in 2019

The first Fortnum and Mason calendar was actually 2018. It was my first ever luxury advent calendar and I absolutely loved it. I still have the rather unusual box, which was huge.

I bought the famous Look Fantastic Alice in Wonderland one (2017? 2018?). It was great. I’ve done some of the ‘big’ ones - Liberty, Space NK, Diptyque, Cult Beauty - but that first one was such a novelty.

On this year's Space NK review, Cosmetopia was saying you used to be able to buy them against GWP or they'd be reduced so I'm not sure people were paying that much.

My first was a Liberty about 2017/18. It was amazing!

Oh wow I didn't have that one! Must have been their second calendar that I had. I think it had gold birds on the box.

In 2018 I just got M&S which was my first!

I love watching the unboxing too ! Cosmometopeia is so funny isn’t she ?

I've had 3 gorgeous f&m boxes - not so keen on this years but must be a challenge every year to do a new design.

John Lewis AC gets released tomorrow... anyone going for it?

I think I am - I haven't got a calendar yet so I need one!
