Ah OK I read somewhere ( think Really Ree) that it was only worth £600 but that must have been wrong

Just double checked the info and it definitely states it is worth over £900 so it is quite a good calendar for under £200 compared to Selfridges and Harvey Nicks that are both £250 and full of minis.
If I hadn’t already talked DH into buying me the Harrods calendar for my birthday then I would have definitely gone for JL.

I think I will get JL, just hoping there's a myrewards discount.

If there is a rewards discount I could be tempted into ordering it too, even though I really don’t need a second calendar! 😄

I'm in NI. Ordered my Space NK on 11th and got it delivered last Friday 20th

I finally opened my Space NK calendar after receiving it last week. I wanted to check all the products were in tact.
Well, I was like a child on Christmas morning! This is my first beauty advent and honestly I would be happy to receive something like this for Christmas and enjoy opening all the little boxes on Christmas Day.
Luckily my memory is rubbish so by December I won’t remember what is in each drawer.
I have also bought a few things that I wanted from the Harrods calendar off Vinted, so I will add these in for the few days running up to Christmas

First timer here! Thinking of getting either the H&B or the cheaper no7 when it comes out (can't afford the bigger one).

Which do you think is best?

I’ve opened my H&B as I bought the spacenk for December and needed a few things from it (saved money, by not buying a cleanser, right) 🤣

It’s really nice and has a good range of items.

I think it depends on what you're after. I'm also considering the smaller No7 calendar as i will use all the products, but as it's only one brand it's not quite as 'exciting' as a multi-brand calendar. The No7 will include a mix of make up, skincare and some bathing products whereas H&B doesn't include make up. The H&B will likely include bigger sizes.

For me, H&B hands down. But that's because I really don't want makeup and single brand ones are, to me, a bit repetitive. I would suggest having a look at each and see how many items in each you are excited by.

Ok, just bought the one calendar I definitely wasn’t interested in on TikTok. Latest in Beauty for £77. This is one I will open and sell bits from immediately to make it worth it. .

@Thelifeofawife it really is such a lovely calendar isn't it. I really hope everyone gets theirs soon it seems so unfair their shipping of orders. Its so big and opening it really dod feel special. I've taken a few things out (haircare) to try but as some have more than one item in I don't think I'm really missing any days. Definitely a very good purchase.

What does everyone do with their calendar boxes when they're done. It's really big and I don't want to bin it as its beautiful. But not really sure what to do with it afterwards.

Thanks for the info on the H&B and No7 ones, I was trying not to look too closely at either so it left some surprise.

I think I'll go for the H&B as a general mixed brand box which will give me a feel for it this first time round.

Yes it is. I was really shocked at the price in my basket so just bought. I only put it in to see how much this discount code would take off that popped up on the screen. I have no idea ho or why ot took off that much.

H&B and boots MacMillan are both the same prize - which of these would you rate highest?

I was thinking the same about taking some out, I was pleasantly surprised that some drawers had multiple items in (just shows how little attention I paid to how many products were listed - I think I got AC fatigue from looking at so many!).
I had planned to sell a few things on to recoup some of my money, but unsure whether to do it now, or wait a while so the volume on Vinted/eBay reduces.

In terms of the box when empty, I think I will keep it until next year, and either restock it for myself or for DSD.
You could even use it for storage, as it’s a nice box (though big).
If you didn’t want to do that, I’ve noticed a few people are selling empty calendar boxes on Vinted/eBay

What's H&B please.

I ordered my space nk calender on the 12th September, still no sign of it, and now because they've taken so long, the pending payment has dropped off and is back in my bank account. 😡 so peed off! my order will most likely decline now, and be cancelled 😒

It’s worth contacting them. From what others have said they seem quite responsive once they get a nudge, and may even offer you some extra reward points to compensate

@Whataboutye don't worry about the hold falling off your account, they have up to four years to charge you. Mine fell off but then it showed as charged on fay of delivery. I'm sure they will send you the calendar, they just have a backlog.

@Thelifeofawife my eldest turns 16 next year so I am tempted to keep it for gifting a big beauty gift for her birthday, it certainly has the wow factor. If nothing else it's gorgeous packaging, I feel my husband is fed up being surrounded by boxes, I'm an early christmas shopper and our bedroom is starting to look like an amazon depot, so he may not agree with keeping packaging!

I ordered Space NK yesterday and said it was a pre order for 11th October but has been dispatched today.

@psuedocream3 Ah yes but by the time you’ve used up the calendar, the rest of your parcels will have been shipped out to their recipients so you’ll have some space 😉

I’ve started shopping as well, my living room is stacked with boxes from bargains I’ve discovered on MN. I just need to sort through them and get DH to put them in the loft.
