I like the Sunday Riley stuff as well, it all has a nice texture to it.
The only thing I don't think my skin likes is the CEO oil. I seem to get a lot more blocked pores so maybe I shouldn't use it on the nose and chin area.

pinkchampagne1 · 24/09/2024 20:45

They have videos on YouTube of the unboxing of the Harvey Nicks advent. There does seem to be a lot of mini products in it

JudgeBurrito · 24/09/2024 20:49

It's funny, I love Medik8 and I'm not that keen on Sunday Riley stuff I've tried in the past.

So quelle surprise, my Space NK calendar still isn't showing as dispatched...

OvaHere · 24/09/2024 21:05

QVC have a Sunday Riley try out kit for £18
Good Genes 8ml
CEO 8ml
Luna 5ml

I'm also using up a mini of Medik8 at the moment. It's okay but so far it's not wowing me. I'm keen to give Good Genes a try but trying to commit to using up the Medik8 first.

I just bought an ASOS Sunday Riley kit after hearing the love for it on here - it arrived today and is lovely. Was £22.50 with a 25% discount code which I think has gone now but there's always codes popping up.

Happy news - I have a dispatch email from Space NK! I ordered on 10th and the email came in about 4:30pm. Hopefully everyone else gets theirs in the coming days.

Therightcoffee · 25/09/2024 09:25

Same here @JudgeBurrito and that's why the resale market is so useful - Sunday Riley I'd out as not one thing I've tried has done anything, and that's skincare, so variable person to person.

As an aside, a shout out for beauty pie retinols and their youth bomb stuff is pretty good.

IlovePond · 25/09/2024 10:27

Hi all,

Has anyone ordered the Sephora main calendar. A few DoD for me, but overall it seems pretty good.

Their £49.99 calendar looks good for teens, maybe?

Not an a/c but the latest LF limited edition box is quite good. Too many things I wouldn’t use for me, including the Olaplex blow dry spray, (I don’t own a hairdryer 😹), but it’s a good deal.

£45 or get another £9+ off with code:: LFTASHLEIGHG

Therightcoffee · 25/09/2024 10:41

Oh this is bad - Sephora has Nuxe calendar on for £55! That's a v good deal...

Therightcoffee · 25/09/2024 10:42

Oh I'm saved - nuxe out of stock on Sephora!

IDontHateRainbows · 25/09/2024 11:33

seems there is a bit of a lull at the moment with the big ACs being released - I've decided to give Harvey Nicks a miss in favour of the 12 days of fragrance which is being released mid Oct. Got my eye on John Lewis but the contents are only supposed to be worth £600 for a £200 spend which seems low compared to some of the others. Pondering Selfridge's offering which seems to have more stuff and more full sizes - if I'm spending a lot I don't want there to be too many mini's.

I was thinking the same, seems we have a bit of a pause now until October.

I also like the look of JL but agree about the price which I think is a bit high for what it is. Sephora is the same price and that's supposed to be worth £1000. For me it depends on whether there's a discount for JL.

OP posts:
JudgeBurrito · 25/09/2024 11:41

@IDontHateRainbows JL is worth over £900, and IMO is better than Selfridges. I think Selfridges is worse for minis - 20ml cleanser? 20ml SPF? I don't pay much attention to the headline number of 'full size' items, because a full size retinol or vitamin C is more valuable to me than a full size eyeliner or nail polish. Full sizes are not created equal.

I do love medik8 too I use most of their range with the exception to their glycolic sleep. Someone on here recommended me eurcin and I’ve now got a couple of bits from them and love them too x

JudgeBurrito · 25/09/2024 12:37

Customer services say my calendar will be dispatched by the end of the week now... I'm getting £5 Ndulge credit as an apology.

Twinsandsome · 25/09/2024 12:48

Mines still hasn’t dispatched either I’m given to end of week and contacting again I reckon mines is taking longer because NI x

Apolloneuro · 25/09/2024 13:09

I ordered SpaceNK last Tuesday and have just received my tracking number email. Fingers crossed.

Housewife2010 · 25/09/2024 13:33

I'm getting so cross. I ordered at 10 am on the 10th. I've chased them several times. They keep promising this week, but people who ordered after me are getting their ACs already.

Puravida23 · 25/09/2024 14:19

@Housewife2010 I ordered SpaceNk on the 15th and got mine on Monday . To make it more annoying in the scheme of things I only ordered because I was hoping for a delivery date after the 4th October which they stated at the time of order as I am actually away on holiday at the moment so didn’t want/need it before then So mine is sat in its box in my hallway now (neighbour took it in off my doorstep) so I have the opposite problem they delivered it too soon!

thetimeisnow · 25/09/2024 14:23

I ordered the Space NK on the 10th, contacted them through Instagram last week, and got a generic 'we know you're excited to receive it' email back.
Says it will dispatch on the 24th September, but no update that they have.

JudgeBurrito · 25/09/2024 14:45

I asked why orders placed after mine have been delivered and got this:

Thank you for your message. I understand your concern regarding the dispatch of orders placed after yours. The delay is due to the way orders were processed in our Distribution Centre, which unfortunately resulted in some orders not being processed when they should have been. The issue has now been resolved, and I can confirm that your order will be shipped soon. Best wishes, The Space NK Team.

Housewife2010 · 25/09/2024 14:51

@JudgeBurrito Thank you. I have asked Space NK several times re the order of the ACs being sent out. I either got a standard cut & paste reply or they told me that they couldn't comment on other people's orders. Did you ask for NDULGE credit or did they offer it?

JudgeBurrito · 25/09/2024 14:55

@Housewife2010 They offered it, but I've been commenting on their posts and liking all the posts about poor customer service, so that could be why... I got a better response via DM than email.

The John Lewis advent’s contents are apparently worth over £900 so it isn’t bad value as the calendar is under £200.
