Is anyone getting the Sephora one? It says it's worth £1,000 but I think some of the contents look a bit stingy.

I was really looking forward to this one but it's very disappointing and highly over priced. I'm not sure I'd even buy it at £100

I'm waiting until the post Xmas sales

@SoloCat Well done. This advent better be worth it and I hope they throw in a few samples for all this stress and hassle they have caused.
Just checked my account and can see my new order has reviewing on it but it won’t let me drill down on it . I am sure it will be fine, right, just checked my bank account they have taken the money. I literally cannot face anything else going wrong

All the way through the conversation with CS I was thinking the phones going to cut off…something is going to go wrong. I have criticised Liberty CS before, but I take it all back…nothing has ever been this bad and I’ve had to deal with Alfa Romeo in Italy 😁
I won’t be completely relaxed until I have it in my sticky paws though! I do think that they need to send out some extras as goodwill, but I doubt they will.

Finally got through to Harrods CS, my goodness how stressful! I’m unable to see my orders either but was reassured that everything went through ok! They should send it next day delivery with freebies for all the palaver they caused, but won’t! I really want the beauty calendar too but won’t succumb until the fragrance one is in my hands🤪

Hurrah ! success at last ...34 minutes on hold but successfully re-ordered ...now the stressful wait till it arrives ...was beginning to think it was easier to get hold of an oasis ticket than one of these calendars !!! ....

@thetimeisnow Definitely ignore the trolls! An advent calendar (or more...) is an extravagance but we're all grown ups and more than capable of deciding how to spend our money.

I'm thinking I'm going to make myself my own advent calendar. Full of bits I actually need, and some splurge bits I fancy but wouldn't ordinarily buy for myself.

@thetimeisnow I haven’t been posting on these threads, but I have been reading them. As somebody made a nasty comment to you, I wanted to share my reason for buying expensive advent calendars.

I use pretty much all the products, the things that I don’t use my friends appreciate, and it really brightens up December. I am not particularly keen on Christmas, but we have gradually started a tradition where we have expensive advent calendars rather than presents and play “what’s in the box “every morning. I absolutely love it! For what they cost, it is a bargain for somebody who loves their skincare like I do, and I also don’t think you can put a price on a smile xx

About half the products have been revealed. It looks ok for the price (especially if you're a subscriber) but it's not for me.

I must say, I find all these partial reveals annoying. It's turning me off the brand rather than creating a sense of eager anticipation, which is, I assume, the aim.

I agree, I'm currently feeling that way about ok beauty. I also don't know who hannah martin is because I don't have tiktok, insta. I'm assuming this calendar isn't aimed at me

Me too @OchonAgusOchonOh I really wanted to see the CB contents, but their marketing has really put me off and I can’t be bothered…especially when I read wrist bands! Like Rituals with a bracelet! They should just put in a bracelet making kit and have done with it 🙄
