With just under 3 months to go until 1 December, there are some big decisions to be made! Thread to discuss advent calendars while we wait for more content revelations and release dates.

I thought the same! I don't think we will see any discounts until November at the earliest...

How did you manage to get the topcashback discount? I thought to use that you have to go through their link, but in order to order nk before tomorrow you need to use the emailed link which doesn’t allow the discount?

I know you're all dying to hear about what I decided to do...

I've bought a Balsam Hill tree instead of the SpaceNK advent calendar.

But, if it is still in stock and if I get a bonus this month, I'll order it then. Big, big ifs.

This thread is fun though, so I'm gonna stick around regardless.

I added the advent to my basket through the email link, then closed the browser window, went to topcashback website and clicked through to spacenk website, and the advent was still in my basket which allowed me to get cashback for buying it.I hope that helps, I haven't prdered from spacenk before so I'm qualified for the new customer cashback rate I think it's 5.9%?

@swiftyscakes it's slightly embarrassing to see it listed as best for teenagers - I received mine a few days back and very pleased. Think a lot of the products are suitable for tide of us in our 40s too...

Oops, I forgot to try SpaceNK via topcashback. I'm usually quite savvy with these things but got caught up in the excitement!

The Stylevana calendar has been restocked if anyone is interested. They sent be a personal 18% off code, which brings it down to under £150, but I think that they have various other codes on their website. I might get it again as it was fun to open last year, as I don't know any of the products. There's a nice big 120ml cleansing balm in there too and I always need a cleansing balm!

I’ve put myself in the doghouse - opened a cupboard today and found two lovely Rituals gift sets that DH had bought me last Xmas/Xmas birthday, (hopefully NOT the one before 🙀). I am definitely not buying another a/c atm, (unless, of course, discounts 😹)

Will be interesting to see how long this resolve lasts, (especially as I keep watching unboxing videos!)

I quite liked some of the stuff in Sephora, but not enough to buy it.

Re: SpaceNK - still my favourite, but on reflection, there are at least 7 DoD for me, including Day 25, and I am useless at reselling. (I try, but things end up going for peanuts. I take my hat off to those who get good prices for their unwanted a/c items, but I never manage it😿)

@IlovePond when you says DoD, do you mean to open, or to use? I know what day 25 is (but am trying not to spoil, just in case) and it's a product I'd imagine everyone would use? And a decent brand. I agree not exciting for Christmas Day, but that doesn't make it a DoD for me.

Hi @JudgeBurrito - I wouldn’t use Day 25 at all, (and probably not the other, similar product either). I read the reviews of the product in question and, although some like it, many of them are negative. I would try to sell it on, but would probably get a fiver!

It’s still a very good calendar, imo. I really like the way that SpaceNK have listed each product with a link to reviews of them - very helpful.

I'm quite liking the look of selfridges AC, anyone else?

Just watched the unboxing of Glossybox on YouTube I think this would be great for teenagers and the Vlogger Claire has a code for £10 (CLAIRE10) off so this would bring it down to £75. Lots of makeup in there and stuff which would appeal possibly to this age group. Worth a watch if that’s what you are looking for

After deciding not to purchase Space NK yesterday. I just signed up to the Top Cash Back Site & ordered it!

I don't think it's bad for £75, though not for me. A good option for teens and people in early 20s perhaps

That is a good deal, with H&B at £45 I think M&S is starting to look expensive for what it is...

I was considering getting H&B instead of M&S this year, but it's a bit harder to palm off as a GWP 😂

Do you think beauty bay will restock their advent calendar. It's the only one DS is interested in and I stupidly didn't order it in time. I've gone for liberty for myself as there are a few things I'd like to try. I'm not keen on any of the perfumes though so will probably try and sell them.

@mum2three48 Hard to say this is the first year they have done one. Keep watching the thread as if anyone sees it back in stock I am sure they will flag it here.

I went for space no for myself. I wish there was at least a candle or perfume in it though.

i bought my sister the liberty one and i had £175 in vouchers so that worked out well.

im not sure which ones to get my early 20 nieces. One is saving the planet so maybe H&B. I’m really scared though that they won’t wait til December😀

I can’t remember when they released their advent last year but think they are often a little later than the others.

I think we possibly still have Elle if they are doing one. I have cracked and against my better judgement after the Harrods Fragrance fiasco I have gone for the Harrods Beauty one . It came down to this is the only advent with products I really wanted and as we are pretty much at the end of the road on reveals it was that or potentially nothing

@EachandEveryone there is that DS&Durgha fragrance amplifier which sounds interesting but not many advents appear to be doing candles this year weirdly. It used to be compulsory almost a few years back
