What shoes do you wear if you can’t walk in heels?

I’m really, really bad in heels. Broke my ankle a few years ago and I’m like Bambi if I try anything over two inches. Anything strappy presents an even worse issue.

I’m also very tall and don’t like towering over people constantly.

I’d like to buy this dress for an event but I don’t know what to do shoe-wise.

Any ideas, and ideally, links please oh wise ones?

This is where mine came from. Just realised,.If you are unsteady on your feet, they have some unfussy classic looking shoes on here. But the foot beds are moulded to support your feet. ❣️

I know these are expensive and more than I could justify paying but I think we need an antidote in terms of some of the posts on here as, in my view the majority of ballet flats. Mary Janes and hideous flats are too much to bear!

I’m similar, in that I broke various bones in my foot/ankle now can’t do delicate heels. I bought these in a metallic a few years ago and they’ve been a god send.

No, for the wilding shoes I would go for the cahor cream or the kami blue. But my preference would be the gold or lenka ballerina flats. Don’t be so ageist, most 60 plus folks don’t just have a personality transplant and suddenly like shoes like that. That’s nothing to do with age, and everything to do with personal style.
