Yes I know, I'm stupidly early, but I love a beauty advent calendar and I've just seen Liberty has stopped a sneak peek at their offering this year...

I'm going to pre order the Liberty AC when I next top up as will only 'cost' me £40 after I used my BD vouchers.

I'm one of the few fans of AB Rich cream so looking forward to that.

I had planned to get spacenk and cult beauty last year but got made redundant just before they came out, so just got the cult beauty as I got it when there was a deal whereby you got another free bag of goodies. I'm definitely getting both this year and have been saving for them since 1 January.

last year was a bulge year on the beauty front so I restricted myself to the OK advent which lived up to its name in being just Ok and Latest in Beauty as an impulse TikTok bargain which I ended up splitting mostly for Xmas stocking fillers .
This year if I can continue to rein my spending for the next few months will be a splurge year , I have lusted after Harrods for the last few years so fingers crossed this is a good year .

Thanks for an early thread OP! I had F&M last year, which I loved. I gifted the bath oils but it’s mostly all used up. I’d quite like a perfume calendar this year - if I can spot the harrods one in time!

I loved the Ted Baker and Paperchase but neither are available now sadly.

Jumping on as it's never too early to start thinking about AC's! I had M&S last year which was great other than the awful bag it came in. I also got the Rituals calendar in the sale after Christmas.

I've just bought the Love Island beauty box for DD instead of an AC which looks really good value!

Oh wow I am very excited about the Cult Beauty Fragrance calendar. This seems to be the latest new fad by retailers . I wonder whether SpaceNk will do one again. It would appeal to me i love perfume shame for all the Irish members here though I know there was little choice on the advent front last year due to shipping
Anyone else slightly put off by the 40 items in the regular advent though. I already have way too much stuff I am not sure I would have space for another 40 items. I wish they would have less items and cheaper personally or just bigger sizes and less items. This whole numbers game has gone insane

@Puravida23 I agree about the numbers. A lot of the extras are sample sizes. I would rather a smaller number of full size items. And no black eyeliners or red lipsticks.

Liberty has only 28 items. It seems to be bigger sizes although they are claiming a lot of items are full size when they are more travel sized.

There was a Sum 41 album called 'All Killer No Filler' I think this would be a good lesson for advent producers. I'd far rather have 24/25 amazing products than 40 when they're bulked out with tat/teeny samples.

I'm intrigued to see CB contents. I've never had this one so maybe this is the year.

@OchonAgusOchonOh can you use a shipping forwarder? I have to use one for the Liberty calendar as they won't post to my location in Guernsey. But an extra £8.99 and it gets stuck on the boat with ship2me and shipped to Guernsey.

I had the LF calendar last year and was really impressed!

Unfortunately not. That's what I used to do pre-brexit but they have to provide a customs invoice now to go through the shipping forwarders.

Oh dear. I’ve had the Liberty calendar for a few years in a row and am getting bored. I’ve just signed up for the F &M launch and will probably get that. Really enjoyed my perfume advent calendar last year but don’t think I liked enough of the fragrances to do one again.

I agree! I was thinking I've never had CB, maybe this is the year, but I really wasn't keen on it last year. Too much filler, as you say.

I'm actually going abroad for two weeks at the end of November so maybe I won't bother at all this year. I'll reserve judgement until all the contents are released though.

Haven’t seen this one mentioned - Ormonde Jayne are doing a (hideously expensive) 8 day Christmas Eve to NYE calendar.

I like the sound of the CB perfume AC. I’m definitely opting for a fragrance one this year as I’m still working through a huge stash.
