Yes I know, I'm stupidly early, but I love a beauty advent calendar and I've just seen Liberty has stopped a sneak peek at their offering this year...

I not getting my hopes up until in it's in my hands!

I quite like Sephora. I think it's better than Cult Beauty, but not as good as Space NK.

I think I prefer it to John Lewis as well

I’m a definite no for LIB, Sephora and ASOS.
Leaning towards Anthropologie for DD,

I’m disappointed in ASOS- I have liked it before, but although there are some products I like/would use, too many dod for me to drop £95. I will lurk for discounts! LiB is a definite no - I should have added false eyelashes and brushes to my earlier lists of personal DOD! Sephora has some products I like, but not enough for me to spend that kind of money.

I gave DH my last year’s Clarins 12 day calendar today and invited him to surprise me with refills- I am not hopeful🤣

Same! I wonder if it's because everyone has complained? I been dm with customer services on insta with my order number etc.

I bet somebody senior has seen all the customers kicking off on social media and told them to send out store stock.

Would love to know how many calendars are available in store on 1st Sept!

The Harrods thing sounds like a logistical nightmare. They've refunded a load of people so how to they now recharge them? Customers will presumably have to reorder somehow as assuming GDPR rules are the same in the UK as EU, Harrods are not supposed to retain payment details without permission.

When I bought mine in store last year, I got there just after the shop had opened, and I reckon that there were between 150-200 fragrance calendars on display. I was told that they had the entire stock out, so I suspect there will only be a handful left on Sunday!

Just catching up with Harrods situation, what an utter mess, surely they must have anticipated the number of sales?!!!

I have the new Harrods email too so potentially 2 calendars on the way due to my hasty reordering today! I will just return one if they both come. It's too high value for me to risk a dodgy buyer for Vinted or eBay, don't think I've sold anything over £20 before.

Oh my goodness what a mess re Harrods!! It’s now available to pre order again but I’m unable to log into my account even though I changed my password three times!!!
Can everyone else get into their account or is it just me? Really hope they fulfill the orders to everybody and not just to a selected few, I was going to buy the beauty calendar too but I’m not sure what to do now!

@wishihadawilly i can login fine but it still says order cancelled for the fragrance calendar despite their email otherwise.

I can get into my account without a problem. I was anticipating the cancellation email when I read the messages earlier and so ordered another calendar when they were available again this morning. My first one still says reviewing order, and I've not had the cancellation email. The second one says awaiting despatch, but I'm assuming it will be cancelled. If not and I get both then I'll refuse delivery of the second one. If the status doesn't change tomorrow, I don't know whether to go to the store on Sunday morning just in case. It really is a mess, isn't it. I don't know how their ordering system can be so bad!

I’m over it now. They say my refund is on the way but I can’t see it coming in on my online banking despite having a PayPal message saying it would be in my account by the end of today. If I get one then great, if not then I’ll get HN or one of the other mainly fragrance ones. I ordered the Flannels perfume cracker on a whim the other day too. I had it last year and liked it.

My Harrods Fragrance has been refunded.
Disappointed I didn't receive a further email to say I was going to receive one :(
I have replied to the WhatsApp chat asking about the cancellation and reinstatement emails so we will see but I am not holding out much hope.

I have a liberty calendar for the first time! Have not looked at the contents anywhere and have had to put it in the garage to stop the temptation to open now. Genuinely had no idea it would arrive this early. Have a short trip mid December and wondering whether to open 9 10 11 before I go or when I get back 🤔 #firstworldproblem

I am tempted with Space Nk. It annoys me I don't like any of the scents but the skin care and hair care interests and sizes are great. I wish I didn't do good shopping on last discount as I bought a and like few of the products myself.

Anyone going for the Holland and Barrett one this year?

@TreesinthePark I've just been looking at the Harrods beauty advent but it says it can't be returned at the bottom of the page - maybe you want to check and see if they will just cancel one order for you? Hope it all works out ok for you -what a mess it has been for everyone!

I haven’t had the notification email that my Harrods advent is now being delivered so effectively I am still cancelled. If anyone does end up with a spare calander and I don’t sort this mess out with Harrods today I would be happy to buy your spare
I intend to hit Insta, Twitter customer service big time today. I was vaguely sympathetic when I thought this mess was a stock issue but now it looks like it was a technical error and I might have missed out because of that I am not happy the least we should get is some compensation if it turns out we can’t get the advent

That's the thing that's good about f&m as they don't arrive til Oct - still too early though for temptation issues!

Reckon I'm LF'g though - it's good vfm. I love f&m and cult but I've had it a few years and genuinely struggling to think what I'd do with that scrunchie, and another bag and sleep mask!

Was tempted by Liberty as great this year but then the Liberty jewellery sales post Xmas - got some amazing bargains the year before last.

We love sleep masks but honestly many knocking about.
