Yes I know, I'm stupidly early, but I love a beauty advent calendar and I've just seen Liberty has stopped a sneak peek at their offering this year...

Yes I’ll be keeping money aside for the liberty jewellery advent calendar going in the sale. Was really impressed with the bargains people got on it last year.

Oh someone got it for less than 1/3 original price I think! I got two gorgeous pairs of earrings for a massive steal from Liberty, they really knock it out it's a proper sale post Xmas, not one of those we take twenty percent off and just keep sending emails ones..

It was definitely showing out of stock, I had it on my wish list. But they relist as “new” items in the sale. I was annoyed one year because I got some Astley Clarke earrings in pre Christmas 20% off promotional period, and then they went down to £40 post Christmas.

@MonkeyTennis34 if you’d be interested in jewellery advent, Accessorize release one and so do Oliver Bonas. Oliver Bonas released a gold version last year and a silver. It was really good I thought, though I didn’t buy it, prefer buying one thing I really like.

I got 60% off a bangle I’d lusted after for months in the post Christmas Liberty sale. I must check out what they’ve got now ready for January.

@Puravida23 the status of my order still hasn't changed but I think I might go to the store in the morning as this is the calendar I want more than any. If I end up with two, I'm happy to sell you the spare if you don't get one.

John Lewis looks ok but has quite a lot of hair products which don’t interest me. I have had JL the last 3 years too so fancy something different.

Hope they sort the mess up for everyone who has ordered the Harrods fragrance calendar.

It's weird that Cult Beauty have gone quiet. I wonder whether they are busy revising their contents! It's annoying when they only release a partial list.

I think that my top 5 this year would be:

1. Space NK
2. F&M
3. Harrods
4. Sephora
5. John Lewis

Waiting on Vogue though...

Thanks @Growlybear83 i spoke to Harrods customer service who said I still have a calendar allocated to me even though I have not had any subsequent email to confirm this. I am trying to be very zen about this and if it turns up great but it has definitely tainted the whole pleasure of the purchase

No idea what's happening with my Harrods calendar. It still says 'reviewing order'. However I noticed that the 'order placed' date is 30/08 and I placed my order on 07/08.

I'm hoping that this means that the order was successfully placed with the store yesterday. Who knows though! Will have to wait until Monday and see whether or not I get a dispatch notification.

@MidnightMeltdown That's exactly what mine says and I ordered on 7 August too. The order thst I placed in a panic yesterday says awaiting despatch, so I'm very confused 😆

@Growlybear83 @MidnightMeltdown The WhatsApp support have told me I have an email ticket number and I need to respond to that.. I haven't received an email so not sure what to do. My online account says order cancelled which makes sense as I have received my refund.
I don't want to get any hopes up with this magical ticket number and will continue trying to get Oasis tickets for the family! Not sure which is more stressful 😣

Just checked mine , mine says cancelled and the date has also changed to 30/08. This is despite just talking to customer services (20 mins ago) who assured me a calander was allocated to me (I have screenshot the whole conversation and have a customer service reference). I can feel my zen slipping😂
Surely Harrods have massively oversold now after releasing those advents in error yesterday there is no way they can fulfill all their orders

And just checked my bank account no refund pending so far

It's awful that they are still so disorganised thst they are having to cancel orders today! I think I'll definitely go into the shop tomorrow in that case and if I end up with more than one I can pass it on to someone else.

If they have oversold from the start surely they should allocate the calendars in the order that the orders were received. That would make it fair to all.
I would rather be say order number 340 and have mine cancelled as only 300 calendars available.
It's not fair to cancel all the early orders and then allocate calendars to the later more recent orders.

Can’t believe how much Harrods have messed up on this. It’s really shocking. Their systems seem shambolic. Really hope all of you who wanted one and went to the trouble of pre-ordering get one.

Harrods Chat have advised they do not have any information and I will receive an update within 48 hours to the ticket that has been raised.

I’m going to assume “reviewing order” means getting ready to despatch since it says that on both my Harrods Fragrance calendar order and my Beauty calendar order (which there should be no issues with!). When I ordered the fragrance calendar 2 years ago, I seem to recall my order being stuck on “reviewing” for over a week while people who ordered later got their calendars, but mine did eventually arrive, so hoping the same will be true this time. Would be good to know for sure though!
