Beauty advent calendars 2024

Yes I know, I'm stupidly early, but I love a beauty advent calendar and I've just seen Liberty has stopped a sneak peek at their offering this year...

I always used to buy L’Occitane gift boxes at Christmas but no longer because the internal cardboard packaging got larger and larger, and the product size got smaller and smaller, and the prices higher and higher!

It looks interesting, but I’m turned off by Aveeno, it’s still tested on animals despite the website’s greenwashing.

Does anyone know when M&S will release the contents list please? 😊

Has anyone had an ESPA or Elemis advent calendar before? They haven't released contents yet for 2024 but both brands I like (and I don't need makeup or perfume). Anyone rate the calendars and did they discount later in the season?

Not sure about ESPA but I think that Elemis sold out fairly early last year. Never bought it as I find the multi brand calendars more exciting to open, but I have been tempted, just to try out the range.

M&S are usually a bit later to launch than others. It's usually out around late October, so I don't think that we'll find out much about that for a while yet. Maybe mid to late September.

@TheBanffie I think if you like Elemis but haven’t tried a lot of the brand, it’s a good option. I had one a few years ago - lovely quality calendar, and better value for the price than many other single brand calendars. I was quite tempted last year, but kept waiting and hoping it would get discounted. It didn’t - sold out at full price.

I bought ESPA on sale once. Fun way to discover a brand bit wasn't as successful get to know as Jo Malone and I have not purchased anything Espa since

Pressed too soon- I'm really excited to be getting the Penhaligon's calendar, and at such a good price, and with my Liberty and Harrods fragrance, I think that's me sorted for this year. Unless I get really tempted by something else.....😊

The M&S box is out on Thursday. I assume it will be one of those 'spend x in store and buy for x' things. It's £30 and has 3 full size and 6 mini products.

Might have already been mentioned but it looks like Really Ree has a full contents list for Cult beauty on her website. If it’s accurate I’m going to say that would be my pick so far! Although it’s a close call between that and Space NK…

Oh thanks for sharing the CB info and link! I was scrolling the list thinking Space NK was easily ahead, but then I got to the Bioeffect EGF serum... I'll need to go through the list in more detail, my instinct is Space NK still edges it for me, but that could change.

@JudgeBurrito I had exactly the same thought process as you! Agree that I think SpaceNK still edges it for me but will have a closer look/comparison before making the call

I felt the same way about the hair clips and wrist bands 😅

I really like the look of the candle and the Charlotte Tilbury blush… I like the look of the Chantecaille blush in the Spack NK one as well though!
