Personal stylist- spring summer

Starting a new thread for spring summer as the last one dated back to October. Look forward to some new requests!

Thank you @frillseeking ! That b/w chain link is my dream dress so you nailed it! Am in ireland so we don’t have vinted but I keep an eye on depop here; thanks for coming back!

@hailholyqueen I'd recommend getting some good basics that you can build some easy, every day outfits around. It's so easy to get stuck in the tshirt and leggings rut, especially when you're running around after kids and getting yourself ready is usually a 5 minute job just as you're running out the door. I really recommend these H&M pull on trousers. They're super comfy and great for comfort but look smart and the elasticated waist band gives you shape. The puff sleeve tops are a great every day basic, I've got them in every colour and good for balancing out your shape as will balance out your proportions and draw the eye towards. I'd style with a trendy sandal to add in some fashion and chuck on a denim jacket. You'll feel casual and comfortable but pulled together and stylish. Hope this helps!

Dear @frillseeking I'm wondering if you could possibly please help me out!

I'm a 35yo short (5ft 4) size 14-16 apple shape who is currently at the awkward 3 months pregnant stage. I have a smart summer work do next week (!) in the evening. I'm struggling to find a dress that would work for my body, V neck but not too low cut, not a fan of a super busy print eg ditsy florals, covers my upper arms, something floaty and summery that won't cling to my currently even more protruding tummy area please can you help! ps I generally find wrap dresses don't work on my shape for some reason

I have a wedding in July at a converted barn (starting at 1pm). I am 5ft3, quite busty (36D) and wide hips, olive skin, brown eyes and dark hair. What would recommend to wear? Thank you!

35yo, 5'3", slight pear shape.
I need an outfit for my company summer party. I typically go for trousers & slight crop top for a night out - not really a dress girl. But open to it. No heels

@MandaLynn is it a formal party? Any particular colours you'd like towards?

@MsBubbles85 I was thinking along these lines, something pretty and floaty as it's in a barn (rather than something structured or too dressy) and something that comes in at the waist and flares back out with a v neck to flatter the bust. Obviously the weathers up and down at the moment but I think you have to go summery for a wedding this time of year and wear a little jacket or shawl over the shoulders if we have any showers!

Not formal - it's the creative industry, so pretty casual. I'd expect a lot of sundresses and trainers for the other women. That's just not really my style.

I'm a soft summer. So either soft neutrals or blues are my go to.

@MandaLynn I was thinking of a linen tailored look, like this co ord which would look cool paired back with trainers or a dress but something clean/modern

Don’t wear a shawl at a wedding unless you want to look 82

@frillseeking oh my goodness -I absolutely agreed with @Johnhasalongmoustache until the moment your reply and suggestions popped up...this shows why you are so incredibly good at this!! I love those shawls and am now going to scour Vinted for similar cool ones!

@frillseeking I really like the linen set, but worry I'll look a bit "try hard" ...maybe a more knit/soft waistcoat?

@MandaLynn I like this kind of knitted look (some of them might look too casual as just like a vest top whereas this looks a bit kroe premium.) you could wear with a denim midi for a more casual look
