Anyone not bother to get nails done for holidays?

Does anyone else not bother with nails etc for their holidays?
It's usually a standard thing but costs are up!

Why so judgy ?
I feel having my nails done would be a waste of money for me because it takes a full holiday to get my (finger) nails into a state I'd want to put gels or varnish on them

But having nails done is not really any more of a waste of money than buying expensive perfume, a designer bag, having highlighted hair or wearing a lot of make up. None are essential and lots will choose not to spend money on that, but if someone has the money to spend why is it wasteful to want to make yourself look and feel better - I'm sure most people to do it in some way or another

Would never go on holiday without having them done.

I always have a pedicure and polish on my toes. (For the whole summer in fact)

I've had to stop having my fingers done regularly as the gel has damaged the nails. I will possibly get them done before a holiday though.

I used to always get my nails done for holidays (and in general) but having stopped my nails are in the most awful condition so I'm not getting the gel done again. Last time I went away I got some french manicured stick on false nails! They were amazing! I got a nice square/oval shape, quite short and they looked beautiful and very natural. I brought an extra box with me and glue, but they stayed on the whole week! I wasn't doing any cleaning (obviously!) and to be honest I don't spend much time the pool other than relaxing on a lilo so maybe if I'd been in water more they would have come off but they lasted the entire holiday so I'll definitely do the same next time.

Occasionally had them done while on holiday - just painted, not acrylics etc

And this is why I wouldn’t take style or beauty advice from people on here 😂

You definitely shouldn't. Especially from me. 😀
