Discontinued products that you can NEVER forgive them for.

I'm edging towards the last spritzes of my beloved Elle by YSL perfume. Why they discontinued this glorious fragrance, I will never understand. Off to buy another overpriced bottle on eBay, I guess.

I'm also pissed off with Jo Malone for getting rid of her English Oak and Redcurrant scent. The candle and body lotion were the best.

Who will you never forgive for discontinuing your favourite?

Organics shampoo from the 90's, Rowntree Nutty bars and Vaseline Intensive Care dry cream deodorant :(

Pore professional - the original formulation by benefit. The new version pills on my skin. << sobs >>

and Clarins have discontinued their two in one liquid cleanser and toner with orange. I’ve bought it on Vinted for my friend who is heartbroken…

Perfume as well - Versace Blonde. I used to love it in the 90s

Elf do a yellow eye primer, probably not as good as Benefit Lemon Aid, but it’s only £4.99 so it might be worth a try?

Eau de Gucci is still very much missed. And Bourjois Cil A Cil mascara has never been bettered IMHO.

Crabtree and evelyn noel. Nothing compares. Eeking out last drops from diffuser bought years ago

I’m severely allergic to pretty much anything that bites or stings. This used to stop a mosquito bite from turning into a welt the size of my foot if applied quickly. The brand changed ownership and was discontinued.

New West for me as well My DS called it my Banana Beach perfume. He was about 8 - now hes in his forties. I still miss it

I have that. It’s not as effective. There was something about the cold spray that absorbed really quickly and soothed the skin instantly.

God yes this was brilliant stuff! I had mozzie bites like golf balls this summer and was wishing for the wasp eze of my childhood.

The best moisturiser for me and I also love one of the cleansers and one of the toners.
I keep buying other things that are recommended and they just bring me out in a rash after one use and I end up with incredibly expensive nail oil or hand cream.

Perfume for me too.

The original Marc Jacob’s signature scent - I adored that. Pah to the over-advertised Daisy.
Then older scents - Ralph Lauren Safari and Dior’s Tendre Poison.

For anyone missing being able to buy Essence cosmetics in Wilko (I miss that shop too 😔), they are now available in Primark as well as Catrice cosmetics, I've bought a few bits this week 🙂

Stella by Stella McCartney was my DD favourite , she was beyond judgey when it discontinued

I still miss Manifesto by Isabella Rossellini. That perfume has been discontinued for decades but I'd dearly love to smell it again.
It had top notes of basil, bergamot and pepper - fresh and green without smelling like deodorant.

That was the perfume I wore on my wedding day...I would love to smell that again
