@Jellycats4life That's mean I'm on a buying ban and I really really want that collection Grin

Pigtailsandall · 19/03/2024 20:00

@Jellycats4life what have you done to me?!? 😂

RJnomore1 · 19/03/2024 22:11

I bought the space NK kit yesterday. The DS and Durga tester kit in it alone is £55. It’s a fair amount of perfume for the value overall

Jellycats4life · 19/03/2024 22:17

Sorry guys 😬 If I have to spend money I shouldn’t really be spending on a perfume kit I definitely don’t need, then you have to as well.

listsandbudgets · 20/03/2024 11:28

And now I've looked at that perfume kit google and facebook are plaguing me with adverts for it..

It is really lovely hope it sells out soon!

Babysharkdoodoodood · 20/03/2024 18:50

Me too. Came today so I'll add to my perfume of the week box.

Jellycats4life · 21/03/2024 14:53

My kit came today and I’m really pleased with it. Perfume kits are my absolute favourite. I passed on the recent Cult Beauty one so I almost felt OK about buying Space NK 🤣

I prefer having a selection of small (10ml or less) bottles than one huge bottle anyway.

I’ve realised that I could never have a signature scent. I love the idea of it, but I would get bored far too quickly. I generally like to wear something different every day.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 21/03/2024 21:01

I've had my Liberty subscription money taken out & they've taken out the usual £20 (per email that said they would till May - even though I'm not a recent subscriber)

I'm cross though as the bracelet I wanted to buy has disappeared from the website though it was there at the weekend. I should have bought it then.
Though I bet it's in stock in the actual store.

I don't know why Liberty doesn't have a in stock/out of stock in store/online filter & how many are available like John Lewis & other stores have.
As then if it's showing that there are x amount of them in the physical store then I'll take a trip over there.
Otherwise I'm not taking a 2hr trip to the store just on the off chance.

BakeOffRewatch · 21/03/2024 21:09

@TracyBeakerSoYeah email their customer service, they literally go downstairs and check. Often will post to you. I think that’s better than the John Lewis “one in stock but maybe not”.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 21/03/2024 21:25

@BakeOffRewatch
now why didn't I think of that!
Though it's making me laugh that they just go downstairs & have a look 😂
Liberty makes me think of 'Are You Being Served' 21st Century Style

I'm sure as a collective we could run the business better

Thank you 😁

Toffeebananachocolate · 21/03/2024 21:30

@BakeOffRewatch me too! Definitely Are You Being Served vibes. Haven't cancelled the beauty drop as kinda think they need the money 😬😬😬😂

BakeOffRewatch · 21/03/2024 21:39

Noooo I love that there’s a shop with people who will help you and go look! I think it was the pandemic year 2020 that JL changed their system so you couldn’t call the shops directly and only get through to a call centre that use systems to check. I remember I really needed maternity leggings and they sent it out, couple of weeks later, nothing! I’ve stopped using JL at all or going there. Who wants to pay for petrol, parking or travel fare for a maybe, the in store staff have completely changed as well, have no idea about the stock.

I find Liberty overwhelming and claustrophobic, so if I want something I will always check before going.

GinandGingerBeer · 21/03/2024 22:05

Still trying to spend the rest of my credit & I've seen some Astley Clarke earrings I like. They're £95 on the astley clarke website and £115 on liberty!
There's no discount applied on the AC website so it's not that.
Really annoying!
I will message them tomorrow and ask why they're £20 more expensive!

Bimblesalong · 23/03/2024 08:25

i recently streamed the film Cruella. It features Liberty as a location and there’s way more to the place than I’d imagined!

brogueish · 23/03/2024 15:37

Just curious, has anyone actually been charged £25 this month?

LittleBearPad · 23/03/2024 16:50

Yes, I have and my balance went up by £20. Waiting for the April box to see if it’s worth staying

brogueish · 23/03/2024 16:53

Oh that's interesting. When did your payment go out? Mine was 18 March, but only £20. I'm planning to cancel after the April box, it all seems a bit too disorganised and messy now.

LittleBearPad · 23/03/2024 16:54

A day or so after that.

Clogsinbog · 23/03/2024 17:17

I just searched my inbox but never received an email or message about the increase to £25/month. Think I'll be cancelling too. Agree with pp that the last few boxes have not been great and can't find anything I'd want to spend my balance on. I've been buying beauty treats elsewhere with lower prices and better loyalty schemes...

Bimblesalong · 23/03/2024 17:37

When do we need to stay members until to guarantee the next box before unregistering?

Jellycats4life · 23/03/2024 17:54

It’s coming out in mid-late April so you’d have to pay up until then, I think.

I have.

BakeOffRewatch · 23/03/2024 22:31

I’m wondering if I should sign up again though actually, I think my last box was October. They might up the ante on the next one to legitimise the hike.

Tassen · 23/03/2024 23:32

My £20 went out yesterday 22 March
I joined in November last year
My email says my subscription will be £20 till the May payment then after that £25 - so going up from June onwards.

Edited because of autocorrect

I believe there is now a waiting list to join.
