My sale order arrived today and is going back I ordered the cord skirt in spruce and toffee. Ideally it could have filled a gap as I don't have anything like it however in reality it was quite bulky and the thick cord fabric didn't hang right. Both colours were lovely and would have kept if the shape was right...

I didn’t expect to like the things in today’s parcel, but I was wrong they’re both great.
The cobalt blue Fayre striped top fits well , it looks good with denim but otherwise can’t imagine what I’ll wear it with , does anyone have and love it?

The short orange cashmere mix cardi is nice too, very much in my comfort zone and would be useful , but I’m feeling bad about keeping too much.

I need to reassess the sale buys over Easter , somethings needs to give!

Anyone off to the Kilver sample sale this weekend?

Another admirer here of the apron dress @sonjadog . I’ve got a very similar shaped dress in cobalt blue from a toast sale last summer.

@OftenOrange i like cobalt blue with white / ecru so perhaps try it with pale trousers if you have some? The shirt looks a beautiful colour. Think it would probably go with khaki as well?

My sale purchase arrived - the blue cords - but they don’t really suit me or my wardrobe so back they go. I regret missing out on the crinkle pinafore which I admired on @Countmeout i think. Those of you who have ordered via the chat function, what information do you need to provide them with? Thanks

The apron dress is in my basket, and has been for some time
im still holding on in case it’s reduced in the next sale
its the green one that I want/ need

I want the green one now too. I think I will order it when it turns up a sale, although I suspect that may be a while off.

Wearing the very useful crinkle pinafore today with a chalk Emma Tee. The t shirt with the odd washing instructions is in the wash. Will report back when it comes out the other side.

@MrsRadichio i did go! Got some sample Lina Fracaps in a burgundy which im pleased with. I thought they were the same as the dark brown but on closer inspection they are a different colour much more reddy/pinky. I also got a sample of the neat wool cardigan in Harissa, and a sample of the wrap indigo jumpsuit which I think is in a softer thinner material than the one they sold a few seasons back. No new stuff really that I could see although they might have gone earlier in the day!

I also tried on the new pink Gabis, not good for my skin tone at all! The shop lady told me they had changed the sizing but I didn’t notice any difference personally

I went to the sample sale too. Early. Tried on so many things but limited myself to these two.

For anyone interested, just spotted a Lime Check dress on Vinted in a Medium.

@mizu i didn’t see either of those, was that early on this morning? I wondered if I’d missed out on the more recent stuff.

Cold light of day to reassess :
Decided to return the cobalt Fayre top , colour is lovely but a bit harsh
Orange cardi hangs off me , going back too.
By contrast the Ikat fisherman trousers I’d thought I may return because ££ , are so good they’re going nowhere!

@Snowyowl78 I met an old uni friend there. We were probably the annoying ones hogging the changing rooms. We were there trying things on for 3, yes 3 hours!!!

Not 100% sure of the tassel / bow things on the shoulders but a lady, who said she was a seamstress, outside the changing room said I could probably just unstitch them.

@mizu sounds like a fun day out :) I thought it was pretty civilised today, and all the staff were super helpful too. I think they should change the hangers though, very heavy when carrying stuff around.

Did anyone get the Emerald Flecky wool and cashmere jumper in the sale? I am searching for one but toast say they’re all sold out!

Hello, I ordered a small and a medium (there doesn't seem to be much difference size wise). I'm still dithering over them but will make a final decision this weekend once my last sale purchase has arrived.

Toast sizing strikes again! I ordered the linen tiered dress in a large due to new sizing. Huge across the chest. So thought I would order the medium. Came and it was absolutely tiny on the bust. So I guess that is that. I did order the large again just to check as the fabric was stunning but nope, huge kind of everywhere. So sad about that.

Oh and the T shirt with the funny instructions seems to have washed ok. I just dried it on the rack it didn’t get time to get into a pile. Haven’t tried it on yet but 🤞🏻
