@Countmeout do you think it might be this in another colour? I saw this had snuck in quietly

@Countmeout I've got the space check shorts from 2 years ago and they still fit me well, the linen ones from last year seemed completely different sizing.

@OftenOrange Was it the waistcoat or the gilet in wood ash that you saw? It's quite confusing having two very similar pieces. I ordered the waistcoat in a L as I thought @Dee1224 had seen it being shown at the kindred event and they advised sizing up for a relaxed fit.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout It was definitely the wood ash Cotton Linen Waistcoat which I’d noticed and loved worn under the dark slate cotton jacket and assumed it would be a fitted shape .
I wasn’t aware there was another , maybe it’s going to be in a future drop …

This is the Gilet @OftenOrange the Waistcoat definitely looks more fitted. I'm still struggling with sizes, I bought the navy tank in a L to get the relaxed fit I wanted, previously I've been a M or sometimes even a S .

Maybe @Qweesh it’s not online in the amber yet.
I don’t know why they thought the gilet and the waistcoat in the same colour was a good idea.

I have measured my spacecheck shorts against the measurements given for the olive ones @Theteapotsbrokenspout and they come up as being between sizes . When I order I’ll have to try 2 sizes which is a bit annoying.

@Countmeout I’ve just had another email from Toast to say they’ve refunded me, so all good 😀

Today I am wearing this Toast skirt for the first time. It is still a bit too cold for it, I am fed up with winter clothes. I really like the colours and shape. It’s very comfy too. I am tempted by the new patchwork skirt.

I've got that skirt @sonjadog it's really lovely. I did wear mine a few times last summer. Funnily enough I put it on a few days ago to go out to dinner, then chickened out and put on some warmer trousers instead 😁.

hope you don't mind this not being about Toast trousers, but some of you did ask me to post when they arrived - so first of all Royal Mail delivered on a Sunday!!! Not sure that's ever happened before, and second of all my Le Bon Shoppe Arc pants are fabulous and I can totally see why they're so hyped - they are exactly what I was looking for - really heavy ecru denim so I can wear them straightaway - I have taken some pics but it's actually quite hard to see how wonderful they are - the leg shaping is really clever, and no pleats on the front. This is a small and it's verging on a little bit too comfortable on the waist, but that's fine. They do a long version too. I think I prefer them slightly turned up?

@faustina those look lovely! Do you think they come up big and is the elastic fairly elasticated if you know what I mean? I was very tempted by a blue denim pair but when I looked at sizing the L (the biggest size) said it was a 12 and 30 inch waist so I decided not to bother as returns weren’t free. I had a skirt from there recently from Vinted and that was a L and it was too tight! I am a Toast 10/12 generally, but real life 14 especially in trousers at the moment.

@Snowyowl78 - the waist is very elasticated and they come up very big considering the small is the smallest they do (and also considering how many hot cross buns I've eaten recently). I saw some on Vinted or Ebay the other day (sold now) in a small in denim and the person was saying the black S fitted her fine but the denim was too big in the same size. I am fairly sure the L would not be too small! Glad you all like them too 😀

I’m really glad they’re nice, because I popped into my local yesterday and tried the blue barrel leg elasticated waist trousers. At 5.4 they hit the top of my foot (too long for me I thought), and I echo that they were too pleated at the front with too much fabric. This made them look more tapered leg (a bit like Gabi’s) than barrel leg IMO.

@FitzLea and @AmethystMoonShine - thank you. Yes, I was really pleased to see the barrel leg trousers in the new drop but then everyone who tried them started saying they were too long and too many gathers at the waist so there was a lot riding on these arc pants, and they very much haven't disappointed! I'm the same height as you @FitzLea but I think my legs might be quite short, so hopefully they will work for you too. If you get the khaki colour, please show and tell because I might do a repeat buy.

@faustina they look fab. I like them best with the turn up too. Isn’t it great when an item of clothing you have been lusting over turns out to be perfect; it so often isn’t the case. I want some now!!

@Dee1224 - if it has an elasticated waist I'm a 6 in Toast (and some with a button waist too - depends on the sizing). The arc pants are verging on too big for me so I'm sure they'd fit a Toast 8 too.

@Qweesh - it really is such a relief when you know exactly what you want and you find it! So many things are almost right, but not quite
