Everyday bag for under £2k

It’s my 30th and I’d like a nice everyday bag. Thinking something along the lines of a Mulberry Lily in brown or black with gold hardware but open to other suggestions. I want something classic and easy to throw on as often rushing around after young children! Big enough to put my phone, keys and a lipstick/small perfume.

Suggestions please!

The OP won't find anything but a wallet under £2000 in Loro Piana. Saying that I would rather spend more for a Loro Piana bag than to buy a Mulberry one but I am older than the OP and I like more classic bags.

A micro bale is hardly micro and is £2300, I would rather spend the extra 300 than walk around with a LV OR Prada bag - or even Hermes.

Happy birthday shopping Op! I’m off to selfridges today to meet a friend. I absolutely will not definitely will be looking at bags!

can anyone recommend a pre loved online store please?

Actually, I think Selfridges sell secondhand bags themselves?

Not sure if that's in the actual stores or just online, though. And you probably won't see this until after your visit anyway!

OP - I hope you find what you're looking for. I need to keep away from these sorts of threads as I always seem to love the suggestions everyone makes and I'm easily led, which can be a problem... 😂

@RausageSoul for me yes! It's more of a once in a while bag but I have seen lots of people wear them daily so I might just be a bit of a weakling 🤣

LV Pochette Metis is lovely! And holds lots of value, very good for resale/investment. I am currently on the hunt for a pre loved one.

My nappy bag (Glenalmond tweed fishing bag -- rural life!) is now DS's favourite companion. Who's to say that nice bags don't give pleasure for ever?

Charity donations are well and good, but the bottomless pit is just that.

Unfortunately Mulberry bags don’t keep their value any more. Unless you are fixated on a particular style I would suggest looking into a different brand. I like Loewe and leather LV (I dislike their mono print) and Chloe (particularly Marcie). Loewe and LV keep value really well, Chloe not so much but Marcie is timeless design and great quality leather.
