@WeAreBorg Don’t worry, I thought your post was really funny 😅

Pigtailsandall · 23/01/2024 20:09

It's a no for me too, which is sad because I'm ready to splash out on a bit. But two masks is a no, and I barely take baths and already have tons of bath products to last me years for my 4-5 annual baths

AnneShirleysNewDress · 23/01/2024 20:56

I'm not keen either. I loved the Relax kit they did the Christmas before last.

Isabelle70 · 23/01/2024 21:13

I like the make up bag in the kit so hoping one lands on eBay.

supadupapupascupa · 18/01/2024 18:18

I'm whole other level haha
After three years of calendars and gwps I organised my stash by type in separate boxes and bags. And logged everything in a spreadsheet so that when I run out of something I can use the oldest in the category first. When I finish something I put notes on the file also to help knowing what repurchase.
When I discover something doesn't work for me (ie retinol) I go through and get rid either donating to family friends or selling

I'm in awe of your organisation. I've only managed to sort mine by product type and into various older beauty drop boxes.

Has anyone tried any of the other LBTY fragrances yet? I was in store today and had a good sniff of them. I tried Adelphi Sun on my skin and liked it but it seems to have faded already (less than 3 hours). I found the same with the Wild Rosinda. Are they just not long lasting?

forcedfun · 24/01/2024 18:54

Yes I was disappointed that it wasnt that long lasting

deepsea9 · 24/01/2024 20:15

Tudor barely lasted a couple of hours on me, but Wild Rosinda was really strong (in a cloying way) for me.

Lightenuppeople · 25/01/2024 08:49

Tudor only lasted a couple of hours on me. Agree that Wild Roselinda lasts longer. This will be the first year the AC perfume won’t be purchased later in the year- I had high hopes for it too.

brogueish · 25/01/2024 11:33

So, the 10-20% off email this morning sent me looking at the earrings again. But here is a major problem with Liberty: I actively look for and see something I like, but Liberty has hardly any photos of the item. So I google off looking for better photos, and 20 minutes later I have made a purchase, from somewhere else, for less money. And my beauty drop fund is left untouched.

These are what I wanted better pictures of, but these are what I ended up buying. The first pair would have been about £40 cheaper, even with import taxes, but were a bit bigger than I wanted.

Beepboops · 25/01/2024 11:40

@brogueish agree that Liberty are rubbish with photos of their stock. Sometimes I want to see jewellery actually on a hand or an ear. Or the size of a hair bow for example.

CornishPorsche · 25/01/2024 11:55

Tbh the whole website is really poor. The filters are atrocious, the images far too low resolution and taken so you get no perspective on the scale or size of the item and frequently only one image so you can't see it from another perspective.

And don't get me started on how it doesn't scale properly for mobile phones screens in this day and age!

dullandgrey · 25/01/2024 11:56

I sprayed wild rosalinda yesterday and I can still very faintly smell it on my wrists today so it's very long lasting on me. I'm disappointed to say I really love it also and my bank balance really wont thank me Blush

Ihavethis2 · 25/01/2024 12:00

Not for me either. Recently signed up but happy to save for the Advent

HellsBells67 · 25/01/2024 12:36

@brogueish I completely and utterly agree with all of that! I've done similar many times with clothes/jewellery and homewares on Liberty and as a result have £180 credit I can't spend.

Pigtailsandall · 25/01/2024 13:22

Glad it's not just me with credit hanging around! I did like the look of that earlier kit - the advent calendar leftovers one - but I wished it came with a washbag. I'm wondering if it might get reduced. It had a fair few products I'd like.

SarahC50 · 25/01/2024 20:19

Just back from holiday to my box so late to the party. All very nice but I don't really like the single use masks. I've loved all the liberty perfumes recently especially in the AC poets of Berlin, but I find none of them last. They smell amazing but it doesn't linger. Do others find that.

Not tempted by the kit either. I also find the liberty website very clunky and difficult to search for items. I'd love to visit the store but I live in the Highlands. Would be so nice to sniff and test beauty products in person x

ObliviousCoalmine · 25/01/2024 21:15

I can't fathom why they don't have an app?!

Yes! The search function is so crap I have quite often found myself searching for something I KNOW they stock, and get zero results! So I then have to go through the arduous process of navigating through the various menus and then I find it.

D20 · 27/01/2024 07:52

I thought this was a pricing error at £75 the other day because the price went back up again an hour later. Happened to have the tab open and now it’s £50. Fingers crossed. https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/little-ditsy-small-betsy-camera-bag-000745647.html?queryID=59df7eb75bdfd5b5fcf61f9d3d6ccf59&objectID=R434204006&indexName=production_emea_libertyltd_demandware_net__liberty__products__default

Thank you, also have crossed fingers now!

Cyclingmummy1 · 27/01/2024 11:58

I thought I'd linked the burgundy which is reduced.

SarahC50 · 27/01/2024 14:55

Those bags are amazing x

This is my struggle!

Decided I'm going to hold off for a good GWP then I'm going to use my credit to treat myself to some gorgeous bits I've got on my basket - all beauty which I was trying to avoid as am drowning in the stuff however unlike clothing I'm not chancing size being off, style a bit weird etc.

Then I'll cancel my sub after next drop box and spend any vouchers after Christmas.

Will be watching this thread madly to get thoughts on GWPs ... is there a particular one which is the Gift to end all Gifts, does anyone know?
