I cancelled yesterday. Instead I’m putting £20 a month into an old savings account that I rarely use so that I can buy an 2024 advent calendar painlessly. I also won’t be tied to the Liberty ac either.

Surely some of these old BD products must be approaching their use by date by now? They don't last forever

As I'm on a buying ban I'm grateful that the GWPs aren't tempting me that much.

I've decided to hang on the for the April box but if it's full of previous BD off casts then I'm certainly cancelling

@AppleDumplingWithCustard I've done this as well as although I've not yet cancelled my subscription I don't want to be tied to Liberty. I was very tempted by the Fortnum and Mason one last year and also the Harrods one and they were both similar prices I think.

I don’t think they would put cast offs from previous boxes into the April box - they wouldn’t get away with it. That’s why they’ve been going into so many kits and GWPs instead!

I dunno @Jellycats4life ,they gave us the same LA Bruket handcream twice and it's still going into GWP.

I’d forgotten about the LA Bruket hand cream repeat @CornishPorsche. I now have three.

Yes, the Uoma mascara was in the 2022 advent calendar and Liberty don't even sell the brand anymore so it could be nearly a couple of years old...

The first LA: Bruket hand cream was Spruce scented but the second was one of three different scents so could have been the same or different, depending on whether you got lucky or not. Mine were different.

Has the GWP run out already? I finally settled in what to spend my credit on and it’s not showing anymore. Gah!

Yes to both, a perfume sample goes into the basket but that’s it. Very annoying. Given how crap the gift was I wonder how many they actually had in stock.

I wanted to see if anyone else had not yet received an email re the subscription going up to £25? I haven't as of yet and I'm wondering where on earth it is.
Also if I get another La Bruket patchouli hand cream in the next box I will scream!!

I’m a bit confused - I cancelled my BD sub after the £25 emails and has a response saying it would be cancelled on 29 Feb. My £20 payment always used to go out on the last day of the month so I assumed they would take the final payment on 29 Feb and then it would end - no problem. Instead, I’ve just had an email saying my subscription has now ended, no payment taken. All quite strange - if they didn’t intend to take the final payment why not just end it on the day I cancelled it on the website? Their marketing team really is rubbish!

I think they may have got some blow back when they said the subscription would be cancelled after the next payment.

I actually really like the products in this 2nd GWP and glad I 'ummd and arrhhd' over the All About Her kit for a while and missed out on the first one. I do already have the makeup bag and a couple of the other products which I gave to my daughter but some of the other stuff is really good and the REN toner is full size 250ml so that's worth £30 on it's own. The minimum spend was slightly more so chucked in a REN cleanser which I use anyway.

I'm going to hold out for the next box but if it doesn't impress me I will cancel after that.

They surely can't muck up the first box after upsetting so many subscribers - unless they really do want to shed a load of people.

I bought the All About Her kit and have absolutely loved using it. I feel really indulged and luxurious once all the routine is done and I hope into bed with a book. In a weird way, I feel that I sleep better as the smells are so lovely! Sets me up to feeling good the next day (that, and taking a couple of magnesium glycenate tablets!).

I realised today that I had an unspent loyalty vouchers that expires soon. I had a list of 5-6 things I would have ordered, all things that I have either previously purchased from Liberty or had received a sample of in a Beauty Drop box. Not a single product was available for me to buy.

They won’t let me resubscribe

They now say you have to register your interest and join a waiting list. I think they must be trying to shrink it right down and make it more "exclusive". I know that's how they started it and it looks like they're going back to it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they kept it closed now until the April box has come out and then reopened for a bit until they need to establish the numbers for the July box - I'm only guessing though

Just went to spend some of my credit and there isn't that bit when you add your Liberty credit number? ! Just the option of paying by card, PayPal or apple. A bit confused as always straightforward before. Anyone else have this problem? Going to stick with the box and see what the next one is like....

Is there an option for vouchers?
