General “waifs and strays” beauty advent calendar opening thread

As in previous years, this a thread for those opening Beauty Advent Calendars not covered by specific calendar opening threads (though also happy for contents of those to be shared here too).

As previously, it will also be fun to hear about other calendar openings - food, jam, socks anyone?

Please do not include spoilers before 7am on the relevant day. Please also avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance.

I’ll be opening the Vogue and Selfridges calendars this year. Really looking forward to Day 1.

A huda liquid matt lipstick.

I like the colour but I have a lot in that general shade so dd may get it.

Oops. Edited to say it's the Boots premium calendar.

I have Boots lift and luminate, degustabox and and cross stitch one.

Boots first box was toning water. Not yet got the degustabox out, will wait for DC to open after school.

Some of these calendars look beautiful. I love when posters include photos 😁

I have a refilled AC only this December so enjoying seeing what you all have. I thought I’d feel like I’m missing out but so far all I’m craving is the apricot jam.

DH kept last years John Lewis box and has filled it - today was tickets to Olympia (london International Horse show) in December. 😀

Look Fantastic for me - Day 1 is Elemis pro-collagen marine moisture essence. I’ve used this in the past from another calendar and really liked it so LF is off to a good start.

In December! It is December. Eeeek, white rabbits everyone! It has really crept up on me this year, in spite of advent calendars, I think it is because the autumn leaves are still very evident, I was being driven through Sussex countryside yesterday and the colours were still outstanding.

Rodial Vitamin C Cleanser from OK Calander. Full size so pleased with the day . But not sure if the calander is going to last to the end of the week never mind the 25th as it is really flimsy . I can already see day number 8 is trying to escape.

I have Next and LF, DD has chocolate plus one I fill and DH has cake!!! In bed still as have had a horrible cold so will open later 😊

I’ve a refilled Liberty one from my best friend, we take turns about every year and it’s my turn this year, can’t wait to go home and open it.

Day 1 Selfridges and am pleased

That's a bit disappointing. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

So mine is refilled with a mixture of gift sets and edits, most of which I don’t remember. I had my H fill it so it’s as much of a surprise as it can be.

Today’s seems nicely organised 😂

Tiny bottle of the Nuxe floral body oil in mine, which I've been wanting to try, so pleased with that.

Day 1 Molton Brown is a 75ml shower gel of something xmassy 'Mandarin and Spice', smells lovely and it is sparkly!

Day 1 M&S a Clinique lippy that I am wearing today, it's a perfect colour for me, v happy!

DH sent me a photo of his Degusta box which is a big tub of coffee!

I have this random one. Day 1 is elasticiser. Not exciting but useful.

Morning everyone!

This is my stash today! Coffee from Degustabox, mini Clinique lipstick from M&S (Bare pop is the colour) and Frangipani and Grapefruit soap from The Bath House! Happy with day 1, the soap smells incredible

Quite pleased with the toner. Looking forward to the hydration mask.

Fox socks in the men’s WS calendar. Rather appropriate sloth socks for me!

If you ask me, there aren’t enough sloths in this world wearing Santa hats whilst riding a bike! I love them!

@viques i wonder if 25 is a candle or object. I’ve got day 1 burning it smells good. I like the holiday carousel that fits on top of a standard candle and leave on all year.
