Actually I think Sophie has this one on again

She deserves a new one!

Poor Sophie; her tiara is rather miserable.

I don't love the Strathmore Rose, but it is great to see Kate wearing a new tiara. Her white dress certainly hangs beautifully.

queentim · 21/11/2023 21:01

Agree with PPs.

The longer Cape version was better, I think because it made the shoulders and shoulder pads less sharp.

Then the gloves are too baggy. And the dress a bit too long, though it's fitted to her body well

The tiara is lovely though!

queentim · 21/11/2023 21:02

Wow Camilla!!!!

I am loving this look (probably the first time I'm ever saying this!)

Covidiokilledtheradiostar · 21/11/2023 21:03

I think Kates looked lovely all day. I’m glad she’s got a new tiara would have liked a different one as I’m not that keen on the strathmore rose but it suits her and I’m happy for anything that isn’t the lovers knott really

paradyning · 21/11/2023 21:03

Camilla looks amazing!! That silk velvet looks incredibly soft!

Gooseysgirl · 21/11/2023 21:03

Camilla wins for me tonight! She has knocked it out of the park. The shoulders of KM's dress ruin it for me, love the Strathmore on her though 🥰

queentim · 21/11/2023 21:04

Sophie should have access to bigger tiaras.
I think She could pull them off like Camilla!

Covidiokilledtheradiostar · 21/11/2023 21:05

not see this one before! I like it - apparently it hasn’t been seen for 40 yrs

The female member of the royal household standing behind Cam is slaying her official uniform!

Maireas · 21/11/2023 21:06

Too true, @queentim ! Give her the Greville!

Agree that Camilla looks amazing. Love the dress and the rubies. Charles looking pretty dapper as well. ❤️

The South Korean First Lady looks very elegant. And very young. Did someone say she's 51?

I like Birgitte's bandeau

Kate's white dress would look good cut down for one of the kids to wear as the Angel Gabriel in the school nativity 👼

Maireas · 21/11/2023 21:07

The First Lady looks very chic, she does look young!

So nice to see new tiaras! Actually it's nice to see any tiaras at all on the British royals - I still feel a bit short changed by the coronation. They all look lovely.

And here is Leti looking amazing, although I am wondering what happened to Felipe and the other gentleman before the photo(!)

KillingMeDeftly · 21/11/2023 21:08

Yes @ChicoryDip, 51. She needs to share her skincare regime!

Lunde · 21/11/2023 21:09

Loving the new tiara action.

Camilla with her big hair can really pull off a big tiara.

I think that the Strathmore Rose tiara looks great on Kate against her dark hair

paradyning · 21/11/2023 21:10

Wow the president looks in need of a tailor and incredibly uncomfortable. Really like the First Lady's dress it is unusually modern compared to what we normally see at these events.

KillingMeDeftly · 21/11/2023 21:11

According to RFP, Kate's gown is new and not a reworking of an older one. But I'm not sure that's correct - why make a second dress that's almost exactly the same as one you already own?

That's odd! It's so similar!

Are you thinking it’s this dress? It’s definitely not the same dress. I was looking at the one she is wearing tonight and thinking I couldn’t recall seeing it before.

Delighted with the new tiaras for both Kate and Camilla! I see Sophie’s wearing her modern aquamarine tiara, Anne her diamond festoon and Brigitte has also pulled her emerald and diamond option out of the vault (it’s very seldom seen!).

maybe the children have already got creative about the nativity costumes as per @KnickerlessParsons Killing.

Picture Kate going to the grown ups dressing up box and pulling out the original dress and realising G,C,L and refashioned it as a mini dress on her now...

Maireas · 21/11/2023 21:18

That's the one, @Serenster . They do look similar, though I prefer this one rather than tonight's.
