The dress is gorgeous from the back too. The lady in black is Bea's stylist so I had a peek at her Instagram account. Some gorgeous clothes and clients

I think Zara looks great in the black with her hair up. She looks so much sleeker now she's ditched the '90's Coast/Karen Millen high necked outfits.

Bea looks fabulous. Love that dress and the colour is great on her.

Goodness, that is an eye-watering orange! CPV is the absolute queen of the coloured trousersuit; she loves them.

I prefer trousers with a co-ordinating, not not matching jacket. And ideally not in purple or orange. Call me boring, but I'd favour a classic navy, or charcoal grey (sorry @Maireas!).

Beatrice does look great in the sparkly dress.

I love this. The orange suit, not so much.

I just think that, of the current crop of high-profile royal women, only Max and to a lesser degree Leti and maybe CPM, actually are really interested in fashion. Kate and CPV definitely just want to tick the "stylish, noticeable enough, occasion-appropriate" boxes and then just crack on with whatever they're.

I liked Kate's purple trouser suit because it was well tailored, and looked sharp. The orange traffic cone one? No, CPV, although small mercies that it wasn't grey.
Also: those very baggy trousers rarely look good, although Leti's endeavour gets points.

I like KM's purple suit this time, did not like it at all with the polo neck under it last time. (Look away now for non S&B commentary....... still waiting to see whether anything will happen with all this early years stuff beyond conferences and sitting around tables and wheeling out Fearne Cotton, Kate Silverton etc... I know Kate can't get political but it feels like all talk no action. Early Years Ed is in tatters due to underfunding 🤷🏻‍♀️, but hopefully the high profile she brings will make some sort of difference at some point!)

I agree that CPV isn't that interested in clothes but I think Kate definitely is. Why else would she have 10 almost identical green coats! And I think she's interested in trends too - look at her recent fondness for the 80s and the monochrome look that was very in about a year ago.

Bea's dress and bolero is gorgeous, she looks amazing. I do love Zara's dress but agree the hemline somehow looks like it is the wrong length on her. Wonder if Eugenie was there ?

The colour and cape length are perfect on her. She’s really found her style, and it’s beautifully done.

Beatrice looks delightful. She has made such strides over the past few years! She always comes across secure and happy these days, as well.

I agree with @KillingMeDeftly - I think Kate is very interested in clothing, style and fashion. A lot of people seem to think Princess Anne isn't interested in style either, but she clearly is!

I think the difference between CPV and the others is that she's not a consort, she's actually going to be Queen herself and has matters of state to attend to. Maybe she hasn't got time to think about clothes too much. Having said that, she does champion Swedish brands and seems to love H&M!

(The brand, no idea how she feels about Harry and Meghan!)

The gorgeous skirt that EBG wore not long ago with the perfect top is also from H&M.

It was a re-wear; I think she's had it for quite a while already, so it likely not in stock anymore .

H&M do a fancy line (in Sweden/Scandinavia at least) so it'll be at the higher end of High Street prices. But obviously still much more affordable than true designer. CPV has worn quite a few of their dresses over the years.

All three of the Scandi Crown Princesses have worn this H&M Dress. Victoria also has in in cream as well (I think I have read too that the very wealthy owner of the company is part of Victoria’s social circle?).

I don't think I've ever seen CPV in Cos, which I did surprising as she's a big fan of tailoring and I would've thought their suits would be in her wheelhouse.

Beatrice has really blossomed. Her wedding dress was probably my favourite royal bridal look.

Queen Silvia is as devoted to her Chanel skirt suits as CPV is to her coloured trouser suits, and imo the Chanel skirt suits are miles more elegant.

I think Beatrice has a lot more money at her disposal now that she's married to Ed. He's much wealthier than Andrew is or ever would have been.

I don't think Kate wants to be a fashion icon though. I think she's moderately interested and is happy to update her look but I can't see her poring over Vogue.
