…..a “Rains” rain jacket.

It was the first rainy autumnal feeling day this season and almost every adult was wearing a Rains rain coat, including me.

I mean I didn’t buy it to be ‘radical’ or ‘different’ - but I didn’t realise they were such a thing?! Like a uniform. Made me laugh a bit.

Is it the same in other places?

I’m in an affluent town commuter distance from London.

They are the best I’ve ever had from rain proof sense. Bone dry in all weather.

I think it's optimum Rains weather though- raining but not yet cold. They'd be no good once the temperature drops for me as it gets too cold to wear without several extra layers under it.

I’ve never seen either the yellow coat, a rains coat and has to Google what a dri robe even is.

Ha ha. I know what you mean OP. I remember a while ago when Kanken backpacks had their moment. I bought myself one without really thinking about quite how much of a thing they were and then I saw them everywhere. I remember a client asking in all serious if my company issued them as part of a uniform because literally all my colleagues had one 😂

I think they are just badly styled. Fine in themselves.
