Are we going to buy or have we peaked?

Boots premium looks like a decent offering - less exciting than I’d hoped for but, for me, much better than m&s in the under £100 category! Agree though that the shades of lip products aren’t what I’d choose.

I think I’ll probably go for either Elle or boots. Or maybe none this year after all. Decisions decisions!

I’d hoped the Boots premium would be ok after seeing this years JL offering, but it’s not for me.

Im going to just get the M&S one then buy a few bits that I enjoyed last year but didn’t get round buying. I really like the Christophe Robin salt scrub so that’s a start.

Too many cleansers and makeup for me I think in Boots but a good offering for the price point .
Still holding out to see what is in Latest in Beauty and would like more details about Elle as it has a Tatcha item in there I am interested in
I would also love someone to buy me Vogue (but can’t see that happening)
Otherwise it is Marks and Spencer for me and a shortlist for any which may go on sale

Does anyone know if the Diptique calendar for sale yet? I can't find it when I search the site but when I google it there's a page for it but the formatting is all screwed up so I can't see a price or how to buy it.

I think that Boots looks pretty good for the price. I like cleansers as it's the one product I get through quickly, and the smaller ones are handy for travel.

I think that these mid price calendars usually fall flat because they don't offer the full size luxury products that you get in high end calendars, but at the same time, they aren't cheap like M&S and H&B. However, I think that Boots have got the balance right. This is a much better offering than Next or Look Fantastic imo.

The same thing happens to me. Maybe they are updating the website?

Boots has a decent number of full sizes for the price, and no gua sha stone crap

I have just ordered the Boots premium one. There are only 3 things I won't use (2 lip colours and the blush) and I can offload them.

I think for the price, it's good. It has a reasonable number of full sizes. There is also no black eye liner or gimmicky nonsense.

I may also end up doing up a second one myself. There are a few edits that I could get and put them in an old box.

I’ve ordered it too. I didn’t want to hang about pondering in case it sells out. It will probably still be in stock and reduced but that’s the risk we take. Looking forward to it now 😀

I'm going to be away for the first two weeks off December so LM only looking for a 12 day calendar, which do you think is best? If I can't find one I think I'll get a hotel Chocolat one and let DS open the first ones.

Given the limited choice of calendars in Ireland, it is more likely to go out of stock here so better not to take the risk.

I’ve just received my F&M calendar and it looks beautiful! Am thrilled with it, but not sure how I’ll resist opening before December…

I saw an unboxing of the F&M and it looks gorgeous - I must resist!

I decided to order Space nk. There will probably be a code at some point, but I think that I would be more disappointed if I missed it.

Since Cult Beauty isn't up to much year, I think that space nk will sell out very fast if there's an offer, and I'm travelling quite a bit over the next couple of months.

@MidnightMeltdown get it, get it, get it! I lust after it every year, it sells out and then I regret not buying it. This year I made my mind up really early and so far no other calendar has tempted me. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Get it @MidnightMeltdown - it’s fab this year. It hasn’t remotely interested me for the last couple of years but this one has so much in that I either already use or would like to try, only 2 things I won’t use (CT eyeshadow palette and probably the retinal as I already use dermatica) - everything else I’ll use - including the dreadful augustinus Bader - it’s good on the knees!

@TheChosenTwo its always good to have tips on what to do with some products. I’ve just opened my first Augustinius Bader and it’s so oily! On the knees it is! I’m trying out Exfolikate on my upper arms now as it really is too much for my face to handle.

I've never bought a luxury calendar as I generally believe in really good drugstore skincare. I also didn't want to get tempted by expensive products that I'd not be able to then justify purchasing. However, my DH treated me to a voucher for Space NK for our wedding anniversary so I've crumbled & bought the advent calendar.

Ahhh don't tempt me @CocoMascara 😂. I said that I wasn't going to buy it last year and then ended up buying it! I have Harrods and Space NK this year so sadly cannot justify F&M as well

I've ordered space nk @TheChosenTwo 😊. I actually think that it's the best one this year. When you watch the unboxing and see the product sizes you can see that it's such great value and I will use pretty much everything except maybe the liquid liner and the lip oil. The AB cream is easy to sell on eBay so I don't really mind that!
