Are we going to buy or have we peaked?

I’ve looked through every one this year and the only one where I’d use 90% of the products is Boots Premium. I did have ideas about treating myself to CB or Space NK but all I can see is the stuff I won’t use in them. I still want something to open though!

I think I’m going for the Boots one and treating myself to some bright Beauty Bay eyeshadow palettes instead. I’m bored of neutrals and I’ve got a real hankering for lime green eyeshadow.

I have a couple of wild BB palettes, I love them!

Keep it for their post-Christmas sale! Bargains galore last year.

@pinkchampagne1 - last year they did a Beauty Box free with purchase and buying the advent calendar counted so that worked out very good value. Not sure if they will,repeat that this year.

That code doesn’t work for me for the John Lewis one - I’m dithering!

I'm still thinking about Next for me and their grooming one for DH. I wish the men's one was 24/25 days though. But maybe I'll get the Brewdog for him in December, if it isn't sold out by the time I decide. 🤔

Oh that’s strange as it worked when I tried (not purchased yet as am still undecided) but I found it under the rewards section. Are you in their rewards scheme? Might be worth checking there if so as the code may vary 🤔

I think the JL codes both expired yesterday, I had an email saying it was the last day to use it.

The timing seems pretty deliberate. Didn’t they do similar last year and discount just beyond the date when those who ordered on release day could claim the money back. I know some people did manage to do it regardless but I had no luck with it and was fairly irritated.

It’s a different code. The other code was for £20 off £200 but that expired yesterday. The £25 code worked for me this morning

I only have a £5 off a £70 spend code on my JL account so it must be account specific. Still, an extra £5 is appreciated!

I’ve been looking at the John Lewis calendar but without a discount I don’t feel like I can justify the cost TBH!!

i see boots have released there’s but to get the free product you have to wait until Friday. Not clear what that’s about. Maybe they are hoping they will have sold 10.000 by Friday so the offer no longer applies?

I just checked I don’t have the JL reward either.
I wouldn’t have bought it either way but I bought it last year so would have thought as bare minimum JL should have offered reward members who previously bought the advent a discount as we are their market. What is the point of targetted marketing otherwise

I’m still leaning towards Space NK and deliberating over whether to buy now at full price or wait for a potential discount/offer!

@Squishmymallow my 25% discount is because a member of my family works there so I get the staff discount

It looks good but it’s SO expensive. Im going to resist for now I think. Cost of living crisis and all that.
