<slopes off to look at cult beauty>

BCSurvivor · 21/10/2023 19:19

@blossomtoes I'd be really surprised if the kits were stopped, at least two off the top of my head sold out before being offered to the public to Beauty Drop members last year - the perfume one and the Chosen by you one.
There was another one aswell that sold out really quickly, I can't remember which one, but I know I missed out because I ummed and ahhed for a day too long!

Housewife2010 · 21/10/2023 19:22

The hot water bottle kit sold out quickly. I have it.

OP posts:
ButDaddyILoveHim · 21/10/2023 20:33

I'm still gutted that I missed out on the recent perfume kit. I'd buy that like a shot if they did another one.

Pigtailsandall · 21/10/2023 21:16

@ButDaddyILoveHim me too. I wanted the perfect so bad!
Also hoping for a new kit. I have £140 of credit burning in my pocket

PomRuns · 21/10/2023 21:20

Liberty normally do crackers and kits (and I buy almost all).

PomRuns · 21/10/2023 21:21

Posted too soon
the crackers last year were £15 and the kits £60.

LoveLabradors · 21/10/2023 21:23

Oh I had forgotten about my little Liberty hot water bottle from that kit. Must get it out for autumn. And I don’t think they will stop the kits either, some simply sell quicker than others. I have just got the Cult Beauty Christmas luxury edit and it is fab.

hmrcwhatnow · 21/10/2023 21:28

Love this box and like the perfume enough to have bought another 2 from ebay. one of my favourite BDs so far!

Lotsofpots · 21/10/2023 22:22

Just applying the nail oil, which i love, and a spider crawled across the bed. I jumped out quicker than I thought I could move and have of course tipped all the oil out...
if anyone isn't a fan I'd gladly take it off your hands! Happy to pay or swap for the perfume.

Orangeslemon · 21/10/2023 23:09

I’d be very happy to post you mine if you message me your address @Lotsofpots! No need for a swap or payment. It’s my second bottle (got another in a Liberty kit) but it’s not the kind of thing I ever get around to using.

MavisMcMinty · 22/10/2023 01:19

I’ve just used it for the first time and like it, it’s a much thicker consistency than other nail/cuticle oils I’ve used. Must try and stick with it, my nails are appalling, always have been, although for most of my life I blamed that on nursing (all that hand washing, all that Hibiscrub) and having horses. My last horse died 9 years ago and I retired 7 years ago and my nails are worse than ever!

Thank you so much Oranges! Will message you x

QueefofSheena · 22/10/2023 11:06

My BD credit is really burning a hole and I've never had a kit so I'm impatient for a new one. Do they usually have a nice one before Christmas?

PomRuns · 22/10/2023 12:01

@QueefofSheena 3 kits last year, I can’t remember when they were announced though.

Toomanylosthours · 22/10/2023 13:10

Love the perfume, recently. cannot afford another bottle at present, not long purchased Thè Matcha 26 (the one from last years advent) .

Cuticle oil is one of the best I've used. Thatll go in my basket ready for the next GWP.

If any one is wanting the little mirror and bag thing, I'll happily give / post it.

QueefofSheena · 22/10/2023 13:15

Thanks @PomRuns fingers crossed for a good one then

MavisMcMinty · 22/10/2023 13:18

Finished my tiny tube of AB cream last night, and really like how it makes my skin feel. Wouldn’t pay full price for it, but am pretty sure there’s at least one more in my advent calendars - I won’t check as I’m trying to forget the contents so that opening them will be (occasionally) a surprise.

Peridot1 · 22/10/2023 13:54

Yes I have quite liked the AB when I’ve used it too @MavisMcMinty. Especially in winter when my skin gets dehydrated. But as you say not enough to buy it! I like CeraVe just as much!

Back21970 · 22/10/2023 15:16

The nail oil is amazing, huge improvement within a few days and I’ve tried almost everything for my splitting cuticles.

Definitely a repurchase for me - to be fair its a bit addictive and I have used almost a quarter of the bottle already but swear they looked better even after a couple of applications.

All the other nail oils I’ve used have quite a strong smell which has put me off but this one is perfect.

My credit is also burning a hole in my pocket and have my eye on a Lisa Eldridge lip pencil and a Trish McEvoy tubing mascara.

Scared to buy in case they then do a GWP and I miss out 😀

WeAreBorg · 22/10/2023 15:27

I feel like we never talked about cuticles and now it’s all we can talk about 😂

I have done my nails during a brief moment of no children being here. The oil went on last, over the top of the polish, like we agreed. I feel this is the moment my life changes forever.

Re the kits - I will NEVER get over missing out on the perfume one. I got the body one from earlier this year and I have used everything, was lovely.
I’d be very keen on another one soon, despite spending approx 20K on the Vogue advent calendar. I don’t even need anything!

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 22/10/2023 15:46

Discussion of the newly released Cult Beauty edits here yesterday led me to look at them again.

I had thought I didn’t want them and now somehow I’ve ordered two (skincare and ‘luxury’) 😶‍🌫️

Ap24 · 22/10/2023 16:02

I'm really hoping for a good GWP as I skipped the advent calendar this year. If not then my credit will be saved for some jewellery in the Jan sales.

wheresmyshoe · 22/10/2023 16:04

I spent the credit that would have gone on the calendar on a Rixo dress and a liberty print water bottle under the £100 off £300 spend.

JohnThorntonsOverbearingMother · 22/10/2023 16:06

I bought some homeware bits and pieces with the £300 for £200 offer. Such a fun way to shop when it's already paid for.
