Never ever skinny jeans

all the time we have threads about skinny jeans and how everyone just lives them. WTAF? Where do you all live? I have about a twenty million pairs of jeans and have never owned skinnies and never will. (Am 5’9” and size 8 if that matters.) Anyone else?

Seriously people they look ridiculous.

“dated” = Personally, I don’t like them and nor should anybody else.

Like ballet pumps. "They're so dated". Despite all shoe manufacturers up to and including the likes of Chanel, Prada and Manolo Blahnik always having ballet flats.

I wish the fashion police wouldn't sneer at everyone else's clothes choices and make sweeping statements that simply aren't true.

I have a constant battle with the stuff in my garden. It grows over from the railway line and we can't do much other than chop at it regularly.

Way off topic but your username conjures up a great picture. Rampant in heraldry as in "lion rampant" but a sort of Lesley Manville type defending other women's rights.

Yes, I know. I've read both. I know Orlando and my degree was linked. I've travelled widely in Russia and am quite the Russophile. On a style, not fashion note, I bought some fabulous fabric in Kyrgyzstan (at that time a Soviet republic).
