Not 100% wool though but I'm not bothered by that.

My order arrived today … oh gosh the check apron is beautiful, along with the organic cord dress … I’ll get loads of wear from both of those ….

@Snowyowl78 I guess it might still be the socks then. I’d rather it wasn’t as I can’t wear any wool and I assume that would apply to socks too.

Shame about the beret, but I’m not surprised as I have a small to average size head and I’ve never found any Toast hat that fits me. I’m not sure who they are designed for, every now and again I order a hat from them but it’s always too small.

My Fracap Lina sandals arrived today, and whilst they are incredibly lovely and seem like they’d be a really comfortable fit, my heels to be slipping towards the back of the shoe (on the cusp of starting to hang over) whilst I walk. They seem to be a perfect length for my feet, but it’s maybe the way the ankle strap it cut/fits at the back that causes this. I have really thin ankles…anyone else experience this? Any tips?

Ps, my returns have all been sitting with toast since Friday and Saturday but emails of the returns haven't been generated yet. Grrr.

The green coat is lovely but its just far too expensive for me. It might be about £300 - £400 in the sale though. Toast did a coat in the camel houndstooth many seasons ago and loved it so much but Ive only ever seen it once on ebay and not in my size. I had a beautiful a-line jacket in the same colour/houndstooth but sold it as I didn't really wear it. I kind of regret that.

god, I’ve been trying on my toast trousers all evening trying to make a smart outfit and can conclude that you cannot tuck a shirt into Alix or Gabis. I look very silly. This is why their new tie waist shirts work!! Got the gingham one today looks like I’m keeping it even with the massive price tag. Going to have to reconsider the return of some of my sale keepers

@dudsville Not bought the coat yet , but tried it again today .Now dithering on size : the M seems much bigger than I remember, the S fits well and I can get a Donegal beneath it, .but there’s not so much swagger ,,,

Uncharacteristically I got three compliments in Toast , all for my old Ashley jeans which I’m wearing as a move to break the Annie obsession ( and because a Pret sandwich exploded down the Ecru ones ! )

I went to Shoreditch and Islington and tried several shoes .
The Flower Mountain trainers are fun and trendy , but very wide .Felt like slippers. The front panel is actually fleece.( like the sports jackets )

Novesta Trainers : felt weightless and insubstantial , not for me

Fracap Green Monkey boots , came home with me to be interviewed with existing Winter wardrobe . Lovely leather and I seem to be lucky with Fracap and like the rustic aesthetic.

Me too, 2/5 came through about a half hour ago, phew!

My mum! Who has never managed to buy hats that fit in any other shop (other than ones with a chidren's department....) It's a puzzle to me how Toast manage to sell enough to stick with the tiny sizes but perhaps it's a niche secret among the bird-framed community?

I love those Fracap boots @OftenOrange but sadly find their shoes so uncomfortable. Actually it's a constant annoyance for me -- love the heritage style brands (Cheaney, Lanx, C&J etc.) but have zero tolerance for breaking in stiff high-quality leather.

Great coat-spotting @neveradullmoment99 I'm contemplating this Uniqlo men's one instead of the Toast (also a blend, but higher wool % than last year's Toast coat IIRC). Also more neutral than the Toast GREEN (it's a lighter taupe IRL with a more obvious check). However it's also borderline too-much-swagger and not sure I need it enough to bother ordering a smaller size from Japan.

I've made the transition to my yellow new balance but got my black garment dyed easy linen dresses back out of the attic to wear with a jumper this morning for work.

@faustina, Ah Pénélope Chilvers has gorgeous footwear, but her feet don’t finit mine at all , I’ve had to sell several things so avoid looking now !
@PretLea I hope you can get used to the Linas , I’ve got v thin ankles too but I lace them tight . I have noticed that my foot is set back but it doesn’t bother me.
