I'm a bit gutted for them. I think the idea was good but somehow missed the mark. I sent all my last box back but have had great nuggets of items in the past. I liked having it posted too.

I am gutted. I ended up keeping everything they ever sent, that wasn't the plan but I loved the clothes etc they sent. I'm really sad about it.

Ah that's a shame for them, but I found them very hit and miss (heavy on the miss) in terms of style and quality. They also weren't very size inclusive which you need to be these days.

That doesn’t surprise me. First couple I got were great. But the last two I sent everything back, gave feedback, no comment at all. They sent me literally the opposite of what I wanted. Really not good enough for the price.

Agree that it was a good idea but I think the execution was poor. I couldn't help but feel that you were getting sent whatever they had in your size in their stock room, regardless of what suited you. One time I asked for a blazer and they sent some other sort of jacket saying they had not a single blazer available, which seems mad. Also the stock was often available on Zalando slightly cheaper so I stopped getting them after a few boxes.

I was finding everything that wasn’t their own brand was available somewhere else in the sale. Absolute rip off.

Agree they are hit and miss, I've had some brilliant pieces that up I never would have found myself, and then some right bleughs.

Last dress I got via them from Boden was £15 more. When I queried it before returning they said as it was a special weekend offer they couldn't match it.

I’ve had some absolute gems from them over the past few years and I’m really sad they are closing down. I did only keep one thing from my last box though. They appear to be finishing on October 31st so I’ll get at least one more box before the end.

Also my experience. Tried them twice last year. First box was okay, kept one dress, but expensive for the quality. Second I asked for a pair of cords. This was last winter when cords were everywhere. They had none. Sent me a pair of synthetic jeggings which had clearly been worn instead. Plus they sent an item I had rejected in the preview and given feedback on exactly why I didn't want it.

Sent the whole box back, wrote them a steaming email, got my charging fee refunded, and haven't been back.

I will miss them as I’ve had several nice items which I probably wouldn’t have picked out myself. Sometimes expensive for what they are, but I think my head will be turned by the good discount offer now on.

That’s a real shame as I have a few items that they sent me which I would never have picked and which have now become some of my favourite and most complimented-upon clothes. However I am part of the problem because I stopped getting regular boxes. I just didn’t need new clothes that often (especially as I was piling on weight and did not want to buy until I lost it) and I sometimes ended up going straight to the brands that they introduced me to- Sugarhill Brighton for example.

I have often felt a bit guilty when I receive my Stitch Fix emails.

I just ordered a fix. Saw the amazing offer but no mention of it closing down. Haven't had a fix for about a year but looking forward to this one.

I see why. The first box I got I loved, and I think I kept everything, I got some great stuff and also it felt more personal

The next box was a load of shit. Was ill fitting and stuff for someone more of my mum if not grandmas age and not my style at all. Ended up sending it all back.

I think the first time I did it I remember having conversations with the stylist? Whilst the second time it was just here's your fix

Just booked my last box to take advantage of the discount - hope it’s a good one! I’ve had 4 or 5 boxes from them and usually keep one or two items so we’ll see what they throw up this time. I’ve given them updated notes so let’s see if they pay any attention!

Apparently they have been using computer generated algorithms rather than human stylists to choose boxes which is probably why there has been a reduction in quality and why preferences / comments are being ignored.
It’s a shame I’ve had done lovely things from them but also some very poor boxes.

I've ordered another as some of the pieces I sent back previously were good but a little pricey. Earlier fixes I kept at least one item every time

I used to get a quarterly box and they were good but went downhill after a while so I cancelled it and just got the occasional one which seem to improve again. Just ordered one last one for the amazing deal.
